Beautiful Views
Giving it four mainly because of views. We were there when it was hot hot hot. We were one of about 5 RV’s in the Atatl campground. We were in site 32. Pull in, back out. Gorgeous views. Water and electricity only. 50amp. Very far from a store so make sure you have what you need. No att service. We did get dish. Paid for wifi in the park but it was terrible. Needed to make a call and drove to the rainbow vista hill and was able to make call. Wi-Fi service did refund my money. Gravel pad, level. The girl that runs the gift shop at visitor center was very nice. When we were there, first come first serve which would have been bad if no spots became you drive pretty far out. They say reservation system coming soon. Would recommend but if you are able to go in fall I would. We were coming through from a long trip and would not be around that area at all in fall.

Campground very busy. Tried two days to get in. Ran over to Lake Mead to find a spot until I could get in. Hard to find a good place for the tent but managed. Had wonderful hikes and views. Sister got Sent in a different direction on the trail because of very wild goats. Outstanding views. No electricity in most of the sites. Most seemed to have sun shelters over tables. Pit toilets

The sign always says the campground is full so ask the ranger at the entrance. There are two no reservation, self-pay campgrounds not far from one another. Atlatl had pads for Rv's and a few walk-in sites. Arch Rock can accommodate tents and smaller pop ups, rvs and trailers, has water. No showers or places nearby for supplies so be prepared. Beautiful park, fun little hikes, petroglyphs, wildlife, plentiful picnic areas and close to Lake Mead.
