Quick Stopover

This is a nice park for a quick stop. We have been here twice and stay in upper run down area of the park. The toilets in upper area have been in disrepair for a few years now. Road noise is an issue if you are sensitive to it but the views are stunning of the lake. There are lower campsites with nice restrooms if your lucky enough to snag one. Road noise is minimal at lake level.

Free Overnight

Rings, shaded bench-tables, 25 ft back-in spaces. No privacy. Freeway sound. Pit toilet. Many people came in just to dump trash and then leave. Others drove in for lunch and left, while others still drove in and right out again. Lake bright green with algal bloom. Unexploded ordinance in the lake - see photograph.

Beautiful Quiet Stop

Beautiful views and very private. We were the only one in the campground on a Friday night. The sites were pretty level. Some right off the pavement and some on gravel road closer to water. All had fire pits and covered picnic tables.

Great spot!! Quiet, beautiful! Definitely recommend it

Seasonal Travel

Came during early October & wasn’t bad weather, very open because summer is over. Nonhookups, basic restrooms and garbage dump & fires allowed but you have to clear and make a pit if you don’t find one. Some geo-caches out here as well as good reception with att
