Our Weekend At Red Cloud

We chose site 6. Beautiful area. Enjoyed hiking. However, in a pop up, the highway is noisy, many trucks going by. Also, the neighborhood across the way has some very noisy dogs that bark continually. That does not take away from the beauty. Campsites and outhouse were well kept, firepits were clean. The first night only 2 other sites were used, the second night just 1. Will stay again. Would be a great overnight stop over for a long haul. Wouldn't recommend for long or large campers.

Yes this campground was just off the 2 lane highway, not noisy, but very pretty. #9 site was great for our 27’ Truck Camper. Great for boondocking. No one else there so totally private! Clean toilets. July 2023

Nice

5.10.22. It's early in the season so it hasn't been cleaned up from winter. But it is nice for the price. $5 with the OPP (old people pass/senior pass). New pit tiolet was clean. Of the 13 sites only maybe 3 are level enough for an RV. My guess is a 35' rig would be the max. Close to the Highway but it's tolerable. I would stay here again in my 26' Winnebago aspect.

Noise

Small campground. Road noise from highway a few 100 feet away. Cheap nights sleep.
