Nice
Have not been there on a few years. I'm surprised to see that they put in full hook up sites, and new dump stations will be nice.

My Favorite Campsite
This place was awesome. It is a family place. There was so much to do. It was not full hook ups at site. Full hook up sites where always occupied. They only have about five full hook up sites. Bathrooms where very clean.

Nice State Park
Hot showers even tho you have to hit the button about five times... very close to the space museum and freeway... some noise... during winter months check bathrooms... all were locked up except one... plenty of grassy areas and trees... lots of activities in the summer time

Nice sites, some are pretty unlevel. State Park fee on top of camping fees. Close to I-80 if that’s important to you. Lots to do at this park, but because it’s so close to Interstate it is noisy. Favorite park for our family and close to Omaha and Lincoln.

Asked for a map at front gate and was given one. It is to closer to the interstate so your hear the roar of traffic all the time. Beautiful big trees though and nice park

Ok Park, Less Than Quality Campground
Honestly the worst functioning state park and campground I have ever been to, and we have been on the road traveling for a month so that’s a lot. 1. You have to pay the normal price to enter ($8 for our of state) and do all the activities. You don’t get any discount at all for staying at the campground. I would think to promote they would at least give you a discount on something. 2. You never get a map of the park when you enter. You have to drive in circles to find everything yourself. 3. You are never told where the showers are and that you don’t have to pay for them. Which is annoying because when I found them, I went back to my site to find quarters to just have them do nothing in the machine (because you don’t need them). The showers are also filthy. The room is easily 90° and the water choice is either hot or scorching.

Dump Station Closed After Weekend
Me again. Only gets worse due to health stayed 4 days. Monday morning the dump stations were closed. No explaination. Just sorry for inconvenience! Somehow they allowed 200 to dump the day before. Must take care of the weekend only campers. The worst

Loved It
Stayed 3 days to be near Omaha. Two camping areas, both well shaded, quiet, grassy and the Lakeside loop has a lovely view of the pond. A small marina had a lovely dock with soft serve ice cream and paddle boats. Lots are paved but no patios or anything and the area is not level so some are better than others. Most had electric, only a few were 50 amp. About 10 or so were full hook up. There is a water/dump station near the entrance. Loved the park, it had horse riding, zip lines, an observation tower, tons of walking trails and a restaurant with a bar and deck up the road at the lodge. Very much recommend, although really large rigs may have a tight fit.

Great Park, Ok Campground
The park has a lot to do, the campground is just okay, tight spacing small spots, dirty/old bathrooms.

Spent one night in a 34-ft class A with toad. Very nice park. Undergoing some road work but very drivable. Some nice paved footpaths and boardwalks. Did some walking. Thought earlier post about car and train noise was nonsense. Then, as it got dark, suddenly started hearing both. Very strange. No WiFi. Water and sewer at dump station only. Sites had concrete pads, but pads were surrounded by mud. Otherwise lots of grass. Nice trees.

Lots To Do
This park has so much to do! Swimming, indoor playground, horse trails, arts & crafts center, movies, toboggan runs...great any time of the year. If you get the right camp sight there is a lot of room all to your self. The only downside is you can hear the highway pretty bad.

Very nice park with a lot to do. Good spacing between the paved sites. Good WiFi coverage. Good 4g AT&T.
