We got a cancellation, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to stay. Why would it be full on a Thursday night in the middle of September? Wow! Spaces were very close together, and there were tents in our same spot, I think. I felt bad turning on our generator for 10 minutes while I made hot cocoa, but the guy in front of us left their's on until the 8 o'clock deadline. I didnt realize how irritating generators can be. Good stay overall.

Good In-park Campground
One of the few that can handle big rigs. Sites tend to be kind of tight, but doable. Best sites for big rigs had everything but. Pop ups and tents were in them. Loop E has a sharp entry turn into a single two-way road. Really nice showers, bathrooms and laundry. Two free showers per day included. Good campground that could really use better site management. I called the first day they were open to request a specific group of sites because of our rig size. We didn't get any of them. The site we got we barely fit in. I saw too many large rigs squeezed in through trees.

This was our second favorite campground. Outside ring sites are always better at Yellowstone. Staff was friendly but not willing to change your site. Shower Facilities not as good as canyon ridge though bathrooms were better
