Great Campground

Stayed 5 nights September 2019. Really nice shower and laundry facilities. $15.50 per night with senior pass. Nice store , visitors center, and restaurants close by.

Tented here.. Close to get to the geysers, Nice showers, clean sites, lucked out and had wood left by previous tenant in food box.. Only bummer is early June still has snow in high country so if tenting bring super warm sleeping bag my 32F one barely cut it

Nice Place 45' Unit Did Fit

Nice place, lots of mosquitos day and night. We did fit our 45' unit in a 40 foot spot, they did not come out and measure us, when booking online they make it sound like they will measure and kick you out if your over size limits, maybe we just got lucky. Note one reviewer indicated hard units only (no tents) that is not true at Canyon, it is at some others campgrounds in Yellowstone but not Canyon, lots of tent camping at Canyon

Hard Side Camping Only

This is grizzly habitat. Hard sided camping units only. But it is a great place to camp.

Nice Shower House

Campground is very compact sites very close and numerous. Lots of trees. mosquitoes were oppresive worst we experienced in park. Our friends loved it we will only use Shower house here next time. Nicest shower and laundry and stores in the park. Staff was freindly and very accommodating our second site here was very nice.
