Weekend Camper Kept Here Year Round

We keep a camper here for a weekend lake place! Boat stays in slip in water all summer so easy fun! Good place to have ATV. Main Bathrooms/showers very clean & nice/ heated in the winter! Store unique, book exchange, most basics, staff friendly. Free coffee! Silos Bar & Grill and Flamingo Grill both walking distance, pretty good food. They still have horseshoes but the put-put course is not there anymore despite being on map. Can tell was once much nicer but now grown over - looks bit run down in those older back of store areas but plenty other space on grounds. Main sites all gravel,no grass. Great place to get good walk/run/bike in. Lots of pronghorn antelope-babies in spring, eagles & osprey! It’s beside long dirt road neighborhoods with great views of Old Baldy, Lake and Elkhorns. Close to Townsend (7miles)and Helena(20miles). Tends to be fairly windy this area of the Lake-be aware! Fish and boat early when winds not as high. Wifi sketchy! Dumpsters stink so book site away.

Camping Out On A Lake

This kao has amazing views of the mountains and the lake, the store is stocked with all the necessities, and if you are hungry the restaurant is next for with quality food. For the thirsty there is a bar 1 mile away. Basically good place to relax for a few days.
