1st KOA
This is the first KOA in the world! Staff is friendly. Spaces are very close together! We have a 28' class c and our friends have a 40' class A. They had to unhook to get their rig in the premium spot. Very busy park. Dump station has been closed for awhile according to our neighbors. Dog park is large and well cared for. Great areas along the river to walk with the pups. We thought it was worth the price

Nice KOA. Full and busy Labor Day Weekend with lots of kids running and jumping in the pool and hot tub area. Bathroom and showers are nice. Expensive.

Nice RV Park
Beautiful grounds, clean RV Park, great pull throughs, bathrooms and showers were very clean, walking distance to trails and Yellowstone river, has a miniature golf course, gift shop, friendly staff, well worth the stop. Nicest KOA RV Park we have seen.

Like Cord Wood
They stack them in and charge too much. No dog areas in west side of park. Not worth the stay, for sure

Overnight
Overnight with a 20 ' trailer. I thought it was very nice. Bathroom was very clean. Yes, lanes were a little narrow, but I had no problem navigating. I was glad it was not wet/raining since my particular spot had no gravel. It did have pretty good grass though and not just dirt. I would definitely stay again. Maybe a little pricey, I suspect that is the market in this area.

Very Nice, But Spendy
We loved this place, had a great time, stayed 2 nights. It's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Excellent service, beautiful sites, awesome location just outside of town on the Yellowstone River, very family friendly, spotless reatrooms and showers. This is the first KOA in the world, established in 1962.

Lovely, Clean, Treed
It is a little pricey but very nice! We were in a water/electric space backing onto a pond. Everything is beautifully maintained. The deluxe sites were very nice but none available. Pool, playground, mini golf if you have kids. One of the nicest KOAs we’ve been to!

Beautiful stop! Very friendly staff. They offered to keep the laundry room open a little later for us as we were a late arrival with 4 small children. Great playground. Clean showers. We stayed in a cabin since Billings was expecting thunderstorms. Best night of sleep we’ve had in our trip! Everything was clean and beautiful. If we weren’t passing through to visit family we would have stayed a lot longer. We can’t say enough great things!

Rude!
Trying to speak to someone to get a reservation via phone, maybe, and met with rudeness. KOA, as a general rule - we are done with you and your overpriced, elitist, condescending and rude attitude.

Stressful Stay
Unless you make reservations days or weeks in advance, you might be miserable during your stay. I called an hour ahead to see if they had spaces. They did. They gave me a spot, someone was in it already. They gave me another spot not as nice, it was 30 amp and I'm 50 amp only. They issued me another spot, my camper wouldn't fit. Finally they gave me a spot that barely worked. Unless you have a class A, or reservations in advance, you're risking a terrible stay. Spaces were really tight. Kids all in the streets on tricycles while RVs are trying to drive through. Finally, the space I got wasn't even and I had no room to adjust. On a good note, the price was fair.

Expensive
My kids loved it but if I came back to the area I’d look for a less expensive place, as this place is a bit of a rip off.

First and best. We only stayed one night as we are driving through but would return and spend some time there in the summer. Everything was super clean and pleasing. Great showers. Took a walk on the Yellowstone River and saw some bald eagles. Cute shop also.

Fancy Facility
Tent camped there for one night. Beautiful showers, miniature golf course, and grounds. Very quiet at night. Right next to the river. Really nice experience.

Pricey
Chose not to stay! Full hookups, fifty amp for one night. 88.81 I'm a disabled vet and I'll just keep moving on.

We have stayed in many KOA parks. This is the first, and best. Ongoing site improvements show that the owners want to stay #1. We will stay here at least 2 times every year we camp.

A Place To Stay
The pros they had a level site no bigger than the camper the picnic table was next to the next site pedestals no fire pit. Pool full of leaves probably because wind was blowing hard. Friendly staff. If the site was bigger id give 3.5
