Seems Pretty Good

I was apprehensive, having seen the other reviews about septic smell, mosquitoes, and wifi. NONE of these things were an issue. Most reviews of the camp factor the restaurant nextdoor, and while that place is great, my review only applies to the campground. Our site, #7, was level. Book the row next to the Katy Trail if you want evening shade. The new trees in the rest of the park are now roughly 20' tall, and growing. Not good for much shade yet, but they'll get there. The wifi had a strong signal. Couldn't say about the bandwidth, since we didn't use it. We liked it. Stay was 5/9/25. We'd stay again.

On the Katy Trail

Its right on the Katy Trail so good access. if you camp along the katy trail side you get good afternoon shade. Otherwise its a parking lot. Defiance has a brewery, a couple of bars and lots of wineries nearby.
