Stayed middle of the week so quiet & peaceful place right on the mighty Missouri River. Incredibly helpful staff were great giving advice to my boys on fishing for catfish. Really nice running/bike path goes right by. Great shade trees. We’d stay again

River is beautiful, we were here in the middle of the week so it was low key. Reminiscent of a fisherman’s village. I’m sure the weekend rocks.

Cooper's is great!
Cooper's landing is a store, a music venue, a Thai restaurant, a boat launch on the Missouri, a campground and a village. There's live music outdoors most weekends, good selection of any kind of beverage, and Kim serves up an awesome selection of Thai food out of a food truck. Several campers and often houseboats live here semi-permanently. Right on the Katy trail, bike friendly, will rent bikes. Sit right over the Missouri river and listen to local musicians playing tunes. I know folks from nearby Columbia who consider it a good vacation to just drive the 12 miles down here and camp at Cooper's for a week.
