We got in late after a long day on the road. Weather was horrible, cold rain abounding. The office was closed, but, the staff had a packet ready for us, and we proceeded to our pull through site. It was REALLY nice to just pull through easily in a long, flat site and just hook up.
We just overnighted, so, didnt get a chance to check things out properly, but, the property looked excellent to us. It's hard to be objective when it's raining and cold, and you're tired. We wanna come back and stay, and we will. Excellent flat sites.

Nice campground with large sites. Plenty of room to maneuver and setup. The grounds are well maintained. Bathroom stalls and showers are large and roomy. Very quiet even though near highway and small airport. Excellent Verizon coverage.

Great Overnight Stop
This is a very clean park with large level gravel sites. We had no problem parking our big rig. The office staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Nice Place In Vicksburg!
Inexpensive, spotlessly clean, wide long sites. All gravel sites. 15 min to downtown Vicksburg. Only downside is need to u-turn if driving south from I-20, but quite manageable even with 40’ and towing.

A great place. Super clean bathroom/shower and laundry facilities. Close to Vicksburg and Natchez Trace. Quiet with very attentive owners.

Two Nights In Vicky
Overall this is a nice campground just outside of town. The young couple running it are very nice and welcoming. I was able to reserve our spot over the phone. We used our AAA discount savings $7.
The bathrooms/showers are well maintained, clean, and large. One of the three men’s showers did not work but I’m sure it’s an easy fix.
The sites are gravel and well spaced between out. There’s not a lot of shade. This wasn’t a problem in February (beautiful weather btw), but I can only imagine in summer how hot it gets. But that’s true of any place in the south.
Some have commented on the placement of the hookups being hard to reach, but it wasn’t a problem for us. We did use our entire 20 ft sewer hose but with plenty to spare.

We stayed here two nights on our return from the beach. Staff was friendly at check-in, found our site easily and got set up quickly. Sites are gravel and mostly level with easy in and out. The hook-ups are at the very back of the site and we had to extend our hose to reach our water opening. It was very quiet even though they were busy. We didn't use the pool or bathhouse but the pool looked very nice. Not a lot of shade but we knew this when we booked. Short drive into town and the military park. We would come back again!

Rivertown Rose Is A Nice Stop
We stayed recently at Rivertown Rose. The staff is friendly, the campground was well kept and the rv hookups were easy to use. Very easy to get in to our spot. If I ever travel back this way and need a place to stay, I’d do it again.

Quiet N Peaceful
This is our first time staying here n the new owners were very friendly n helpful. Up on arrival they escorted us to our site n let us know that if we needed anything just let them know at the office.we were really surprised on how quiet the park was n it was pretty full. Make sure you have plenty of sewer hoses n a long electric cord due to the hookups are al the way at the back of the sites. But at the first of the year they will be doing site upgrades . Would recommend this campground to anyone staying in Vicksburg, Mississippi. When in the area we will definitely stay again.

GPS Directions Bad
Really nice park but GPS took us through town but had plenty of room to do a “U” turn at crossover 1/4 mile south of park entrance on US 61. All roads and pads are gravel but well maintained. Well manicured lawn. Friendly & helpful staff.

Clean with spacious pull throughs. Be sure you have plenty of sewer hose and power cord as utilities are at the back of spaces. Very nice staff and graciously allowed us to stay a couple hours beyond check out time so that we could see some of the local attractions.

Working near by. The owners take good care of the campground. Lots are huge and this is great bonus. I stay here during the week and travel on the weekend. The owners keep an eye on my place while gone. Internet works ok. Some may have issues but works for me. They have a beautiful pool. Haven't got to use it, but many others do. Only bad I could point to would be a lack of shade trees but it works for me. By the way quite time is great. I get up at 4:30 in the morning and there is no noise during the night.

This is one of the best parks we have stayed in. Sites are very roomy, level and easy in/easy out. Laundry room is clean, washer $1 and dryer $1.50 AND they work! Park is very clean! Managers go above and beyond to be helpful and take care of their guests. Garbage pick up at site every day. They will even pick up your propane tank, fill it and return it to your site! Can't say enough good things about River Town Campground! Highly recommend if you are in the Vicksburg area!

Truly Big Rig Friendly!
We are 75 feet long and are traveling across the US for a year. Many places have told us they are big rig friendly and it's a bit stressful getting in and out however THIS park is so easy to get around and they have very large sites! The price of the park is so reasonable. I think we paid $23 a night with Good Sam. Town of Vicksburg is delightful. We passed on going to Jackson and stayed in Vicksburg instead. I'm very happy with our decision. One other thing - the owners are great folks and have wonderful customer service!

Nice spot for a 1 night stopover. Not a lot of shade, but nice level spots.
Had an electrical issue that affected the majority of the property. It happened after hours on a Sunday. They got it taken care of fairly quickly, which was a huge relief since it was pushing 100 degrees.

Good Place For One Night Stay
Convenient for our one night stay. Staff was very nice. Bathrooms and showers were big and clean. Lots of level pull through sites. Not a place I'd stay a long time. Not much scenery and no fire pit. Mostly gravel with some grass. Good Mexican food with great top shelf margaritas down the road at Martinez Mexican Restaurant.
