Stayed last night, had called earlier to reserve a site. Told to pick out site once we arrived after hours. ~12 pull thru sites to choose from. Long term folks line the periphery of the park and seems to be well kept. Only slight road noise overnight. Utility hook ups near rear of concrete pad so depending on your connection bays plan accordingly. Too early in the season to expect the swimming pool to be open. Other amenities not used so can’t grade. $32 with Good Sam. Would stay again on a stop over.

OK stop

Nothing to rave about. It was clean, fairly quiet, and it was a convenient one-night stopover. Several work crews appear to be living in the park longer term.

Great Find

Stayed overnight. Pleased to find the long cement slabs for quick and easy set up. Host was very friendly and easy going. Small dog park by the playground. Basic needs were met. Minimal road noise. Didn’t use any of the extra amenities so I can’t speak for them.

Convenient

Easy in, Easy out. Gravel drive, concrete pads. We stayed two days. Showers older but very clean.

Good Place

Long, wide, level concrete pads. The electric hookup has a small light, which is a nice touch. There's no grass for the pets, but the pool was clean and we were the only ones in it, which made up for it! Easy access to the interstate and 2 miles from Walmart and Lowe's, among other places. We would stay here again. AND WE DID! (9/20/20) Really just a nice, convenient place.

Ok overnight place

Good basic park for over night stay. Large level concrete pads on a large gravel area. Our spot easily accommodated or 32 ft class A with toad. No frills. Nice Good Sam price.

Retiree

We stayed her overnight while traveling westward on I-20. Its right off the highway. Folks are very nice. Wi-fi was mediocre at best and we gave up and read a book. Not such a bad thing.

No Complaints

Bonita Lakes was great. Easy navigation, level concrete pads, air conditioned laundry room with 4machines. Place fills up quickly overnight. We have no complaints and will return.

Not To Shabby

The lady at the front desk was so nice. We called the day of and she had a lot of availability. It was clean and well kept. It is very quite and had concrete padding. The people who were also staying there were so nice and friendly. My boyfriend and I stayed one night. We decided to walk around the park. I’m an animal lover and there were 5 cats walking around and very friendly. They were so adorable. They had a nice shower area and laundry room. Each shower had its own enclosed area. Only downfall was they didn’t have cable, but had WiFi. We didn’t use it because we have our own. The pool was green, but kids were still playing in it. We would stay again.

Nice concrete level pad. Overall park was run down and needs attention. Good for overnight stay.

Great Overnight Spot!

The staff was great! The spot was great for a quick overnight. Will stay again if we are in the area.

We stopped for 1 night and stayed for 2 weeks. This park feels like home as does the area. We will return next summer

Very level concrete pads. Easy pull throughs. Friendly staff. Did not use nice looking pool. Stayed one night passing through. Would use it again and have used it before, very convenient to IH 20. Noisy freeway and no shade.

From the moment we arrive the staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking pads are very nice and level. The hookups are well maintained. During our preparation for departure our full body slide on our Class-C RV that wouldn’t retract. The staff was very helpful and provided support and technical assistance. They actually repaired the problem and didn’t charge us anything. You meet the nicest people RVing. Bonita Lakes RV Park is a place you can feel safe and know that someone is there to always help you.

We recently stayed for 3 nights after evacuating during Irma. The park was full of people from Florida escaping. The owners were the best! It is rare to encounter such sweet and helpful people. The park is very safe with security driving around every hour, and extremely clean. The two bath houses were amazing with huge ceramic shower stalls and attached private changing area. There is coin laundry, ATM, change machine for $1-20, and tables for folding laundry. What impressed me most was that the lower bath house is built to withstand a category 5 hurricane, making us feel much safer. The city also has everything you could want with three Walmart stores, mivie theater, pet shop, restaurants, fast food, movies. The pool is nice but we didn't try it. Nearby is the absolutely gorgeously Lake Bonita park with hiking and breathtaking views. Pet friendly, kid friendly, and amazing. There are nite lights at each site, full sewer, clear cable, and wifi. The wifi works good outside the RV.

This was just a stop over, so the Wi-Fi worked great, cable plug and play, water pressure so so, and pads were nice and level!

Easy Over Night

For $27 with Good Sam would recommend for quick stop overnight just off I-59 exit 156. Very friendly and full service on 60 ft pull through pad. Will stop again on way to coast.

Surprised

We stayed here for 2 nights . I was surprised by how large it was. There was plenty of room to walk my dogs. The pads were concrete and the roads were white rock . It's a mile from shopping and food but the camping area makes you feel like you are in the woods. We will definitely stay here again.
