This Place Is A Swamp when It rain.
We booked this place when I pulled in it look like a swamp. We came for cruising the coast and had our show car and couldn't unload because it was so much water. I ask could I get a refund she said no.The staff was not very friendly. We did leave and found another place.
Reply from owner/manager: Thanks for the review, we had 120" of rain this year by the 1st of October and 3" the day prior to your arrival. We are on the coast at an elevation of 13' and a water table of 9'. When it rains it takes some time for it to drain, especially with an already saturated ground. It did drain off & everyone had a great time. The coast is a sub-tropical climate and as I told you when you arrived and looked around with complete disgust on your face, we cannot control the weather. You were advised of the cancellation policy upon booking and it's plain on your email confirmation and on our website; there are no refunds when cancelling that close to arrival, let alone the day OF your arrival. Almost every other person in our park also had show cars, in fact the one in the site next to the one you were assigned was used in a movie the following week. I'm glad you found a better fit and suggest all concrete for your future. Safe Travels!

Nice park, bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was great. If you play disc golf they have a small course. Pool and play area for kids and nice dog area.

Stayed overnight. Very good people run this place. Literally took us to our spot and guided us in. Place was full. It was 75 when we left and 35 when we got to Memphis. LOL.

We stayed there for two nights in November 2020 and really enjoyed our stay. We had reservations and called the office about 10 minutes before our arrival and were met by one of the owners at the office, were escorted to our campsite, and shown where our connections were on the site. Land and site were level and the site was well maintained. Several new sites (about 10) were being constructed, along with renovations of the bathhouse. Another camper visited it and said it was real nice. Nice looking play area for children. I highly recommend it.

Great Place To Stay
Excellent place for my family to stay between Florida and Texas! We were met at entrance and escorted to site. The place is well kept. Some playground equipment needs repairs, but our 3 year old daughter enjoyed the newer equipment, and not a big enough deal to cost a star considering every thing else. We have already recommended to some friends who make a similar trip. We will be back.

This was our third stay at Bay Hide Away. We stayed 6 weeks this time. We think this is the best park on the coast. Close to shopping, restaurants, night life and New Orleans with out the noise and traffic. The owners are super and go out of there way to make sure your stay is a good one. They're having an event or activity every few days. Winter or summer there's always something going on in the area.

Family Trip To Gulf Coast
This campground was great! Nice level pull through sites, clean laundry facilities, clean bath/showers, off-leash dog area, playground, beautiful pool and the location was amazing. While not on the beach, it was perfectly location a few miles from beaches, and under an hour to New Orleans or Bioloxi! The recommended swamp tour with Pearl River Eco-tours was beyond expectations. Will stay here again for sure, so much less to clean with kids than if we had camped at Silver Slipper or a site closer to beach ;-)
Reply from owner/manager: Thanks Asley! Happy you enjoyed our park, we look forward to your next visit.

HORRIBLE, AVOID AT ALL COST! Rude and price did not match what was stated on the website and over the phone. The facilities are dirty and unkempt.
Silver Slipper Casino or the State Park would be a much better option. The photos did not even match. Again, please take our advice from one full timer to another. Safe Travels!!!
Reply from owner/manager: We purchased this park in January of 2019. We hope you'll stop by again and see if you think things have changed. We were fulltime RVers for 5 years before purchasing the park. All photos on our site are up to date and prices are listed.
