Newly Improved Campground

New and improved campground is very nice. Sites are huge and nicely laid out. Rvs of all sizes can fit in most sites. New bathhouse with free hot showers although it is a bit of a walk from most campsites (there is a parking lot). Vault toilets throughout (and we were next to one on a warm day and were happy to not smell a thing). Electric hookups but no water or dump but there is a free dump and water fill station in Silver Bay (ask front desk for maps of it and another dump but no water fill station to the south in Two Harbors). Lots of trails but you have to go about a mile downhill from the campground to see the sites (great workout!). Lovely paved bike lanes throughout and several small parking lots at beaches as well as some RV parking at the lighthouse. Beautiful place and highly recommended!

Spendy But...

Awesome campsite. We had site 18 that was a bit of a walk to get to but was worth it. Super great view and quiet. Will probably be back.

Wonderful place but...

It is beautiful location but only allows tent camping.
