This has got to be one of the nicest National Forest campgrounds you’ll ever stay at. Beautiful electric sites with lake views and towering pines and stands of birch. And you never see prettier and cleaner pit toilets. (See photo) The only negative is there is not a dump station, but all the other niceties make up for it.

This Is Now South Kawishiwi River Camp

This is now South Kawishiwi River Campground. Some have electric. There are 33 sites. Solar water well. A beautiful campground. A gorgeous Pavillion for groups to rent. Weddings are held there at times. Some back in sites. Some sites are able to make reservation on the recreation.gov web site.
