Sandy Point County Park

Very impressed. Stayed October 3, 2020. Clean, mowed, electric, water was on. Had the place to myself on a Saturday night. Newer playground setup. Picnic tables were recently restrained. Definitely worth the stop. Around a mile of washboard gravel.

Got in late. Only $15 for non hookup. Had the whole park to ourselves! On a Wednesday night :) The tower was closed but got to walk along the lake. Lots of white pelicans. Quiet. Recommended.

Beautiful County Park Right Off I90

Stayed one night here on our way from Iowa to South Dakota. It's about 8 miles north of i90 but was worth the drive. Quiet, fairly well maintained and worth the price to have a safe quiet place to stay. We had considered boondocking but it was 90° and we wanted to run the AC. Cool little observation tower that was worth the climb. Beautiful lake and a pretty nice playground. Would definitely recommend this spot and we'd be happy to return!
