On Calm Lake Roland

Beautiful and scenic views of the lake which is ideal for boating/fishing with a convenient boat launch. Used a picnic tent due to the mosquitoes, but it wasn’t as bad in July. Would like to return to kayak/canoe.

Beautiful Small Park

This park is right off of M-26. There is traffic noise, but it is nothing compared to city noise. I think the beauty of the park makes up for the noise factor. We stayed in October 2019, beautiful fall colors. Centrally located for day trips to Porcupine Mountains and the opposite direction to Copper Harbor. Playground, pavilion, horseshoe pits. A wood vendor comes daily to the campground. Gas station mini Mart located across the road from the park.

Beautiful Place

The lakes are beautiful. Water available but no hookups. Self registered on a phone at the park. Nice level spots. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.
