Open For Day Use Only

Park seems to b open for several beach combers, rock hunters. We drove around the entire park and spent a beautiful beach day, made ourselves some dinner and left by about 8. Only a handful of folks were out looking for Petoskey stones. We found some. This Park is extremely rustic, some gravel roads, vault toilets, no electric, water spaced thru out but not on. Be very aware th!y practically none of these camp sites r level. Seems like they could have attempted to level a bit and put down gravel. There was still snow in the park, some flooding, tons of groundwater everywhere. Can't imagine whay the blackflies and mosquitoes will b like!! But the beach access was amazing! Would come back for that! This time of year all is very quiet!
