A Gem
Lovely campground not too far off the highway and along a creek. Beautiful landscaping, nice playground and pool for the kids. Extremely nice bathhouse. They also deliver pizza and wings to your site.

Overcharged
Avoid this KOA. Dishonest. Changed the charge from $38.25 to $50.50 and sent an email but did not mention this when we arrived. They said it was an up graded site that had 50mp and 30 amp. The site was too small for an RV that would use 50amp. On top of this the 30 amp had problems and we had to use the 50 amp with an adapter. Paid two nights of this price change and didn't realize this until we returned home. When we asked about these charges, they became snippy and curt and left my phone call on hold twice.

We thought it was very nice. Plenty of space at each site. Very friendly. Right by the creek for kayaking or floating and fishing. Diner makes excellent food and plenty of it. Very quiet.

Poor access to campsite. The “road” in front of our site was too narrow for backing in without the truck dropping into a ditch. Potholes everywhere and no place reasonable to park your truck after you unhook. While hooking or unhooking you trailer you are blocking the access road (no choice). That definitely inconveniences other camper. Close to a race track for cars. Saturday night we had to listen to loud racing until 10pm. We went as a group of four. My sister-in-law’s site had no electricity the first day, they fixed it the following morning. When draining their tanks the campground sewage backed up and they couldn’t drain their gray tank. Overall a poorly maintained camp ground. Never going back. Stay away!

A Good KOA
The campground is tight, and a bit off of the highway, but that should be expected in the Mountians. We enjoyed the creekside site and the diner.

Avoid this KOA
This place is very poorly laid out and maintained. If anyone is attempting to register and you want to go to your site good luck the only access you might be able to use is occupied by staff parking in it. I think that they are to lazy to park properly there response is that's an employee's car ( no kidding). The first night we were there they had a loud outdoor live band with no notification when we checked in, or on there schedule of events (by the way they could sure ruin a song). When I called the office about the noise they were making I was told that they were going to play until 9 PM, besides quit time is 10 PM. Avoid this place like the plague. Small unlevel sites, rude staff.

Traveler
I want my $73.00 back. Hard to get to, small sites, not even close to level. Front wheels of the coach were 8” off the ground. Then at 9:pm the neighbor camper had the tire service people come , generators, compressors, impact guns, until 10:30 pm. Won’t ever go back, can’t say anything good.

Snug Harbor
1st time camping there, was early May during our stay. We stayed 2 nights, staff was friendly and assisted to our site, which was by the creek. Site was clean and mainly level, didn’t have to use any blocks under the trailer tires. Campground was quiet and enjoyable. Only complaint was the cable connection was horrible, we survived though! Don’t really camp to watch TV, family time was great. We are returning again and again, already booked next trip and more. Cable kept it from being 5 stars, please fix it.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!
Dirty, poorly maintained, really poor access roads (full of potholes). First impression...we have arrived at the ghetto of campgrounds. KOA should be ashamed to have its name associated with this place. It was a 3 day stop over for us on return from FL winter escape. We stayed 2 nights and got out as soon as we could. If you’re visiting this area, find another campground.

Work In Progress
This is an older KOA that is being restored. Good location and quiet. Plenty for the kids to do. Very nice camp store. Good food and well stocked with RV supplies. Stayed three nights in a travel trailer. Will return.

Rustic And Clean
Sitting on a river, with very large sites. Staff was very friendly. This is a Rustic Campground away from highway noise. We would definitely return.

Terrible Koa Avoid
This is a awful place. Terrible access from interstates, sinage is nonexistent. Location is all gravel sites. High price and we could not access to dump on site, We asked for a refund for the difference between full hookup and having to go to the dump and they refused. This KOA is NOT UP TO KOA STANDARDS. Find someplace else to stay.
