Our Kind Of Campground
A lovely smaller campground with an excellent view over the bay at all sites, not tightly crowded and accommodating staff with kind and respectful campers. We stayed two nights and then went over to Eastport for a night and wanted to go back to Sunset Point for another night unfortunately sold out and we can see why. The opportunity to have pots and utensils to cook lobster and crab was a bonus and morning coffee on the front porch was a nice added touch Highly recommend!

Peaceful
Camped in sited 12B with a 28 foot camper. The site was equipped with water, electric both 30 and 50 amp, a fire ring, and a picnic table. The site was grassy, fairly level, and came with an amazing ocean view. It was also spacious. The inside sites were kind of cramped as were the sites to the left as you drive in. They have a free dump station, and are dog friendly. $1 for a bag of ice, $3 for a good sized bundle of firewood, $40 per night for your camp site. They also have free coffee every morning, along with a full bath house, and free WIFI. They have a cute little camp store as well. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Quaint And Cozy
This is a no frills campground that sits on a point overlooking Johnson’s Bay. Water, electric, cable. Grounds are clean. Sites are narrow but very deep. It is very serene and quiet here. Restrooms and showers are clean. Shower stalls are small. A big man will have some difficulty. Excellent value for the price. About a half to two-thirds the cost of a lot of campgrounds. Once you get off the highway the roads to the campground are very rough. Be prepared to get bounced around quite a bit. Lubec is a very small town with not much going on. Most likely due to COVID.

Our Favorite
We spend part of our summers here each year. Friendly people, away from the crowds, but with lots to do. Kayaking in the bay, exploring Campobello Island, the W Quoddy Head lighthouse and park, and the good Lubec restaurants and brewery! Already looking forward to 2018.

Ideal location for amazing views! Manicured grounds. Staff is friendly and helpful. No sewer but free use of caddy or pay someone to do it for $10 (only reason it is not 5 star). Can't say enough about the scenery.

Great View
Beautiful view out the front windshield. Watch the tide go in or out. Only downside is no sewer. Great lady that ran the office, she was so helpful informing us about the area.

By The Bay
Nestled just outside Lubec and sitting right next to Johnson Bay. Very nice and friendly campground. Website amenities are accurate. No sewer but they do have a dump station, mobile sewer service ($10), and a loaner portable tank if you care to do it yourself. Washers and dryers are $1.25/$1.00 and actually wash/dry your clothes. The only real downside, which you can adapt to, is how closely the sites are to each other; a slide out and an awning will take literally take up the full width of your site. First place we've been to that had usable wifi at our camper. We will certainly stay here on our future trips here.
