Stayed here June 5-7, 2025. We stayed in both the A loop and the C loop. Seemed to like the C better. We learned that even though we have a van, not to say we can do tent only sites. That put us too close to the road and there were lots of nice empty sites nearby. Due to bugs and poor cell service we adopted a routine of going out to eat and or using the beautiful picnic area across the street till dark and again in the mornings. Seemed like lots of other rvs were doing that too.
No showers but the bathrooms r nice. Sites r pretty level. Nice loops for dog walking. We tried to empty gray tank at the dump station and were attacked by hundreds of mosquitoes. Out of a horror movie. Has been tons of rain in the area and lots of standing water. As u can tell we mostly used our campsites for sleeping and did sightseeing, restaurants and elsewhere during the days. Don't miss going into Southwest Harbor for popovers!

Very nice campground. Lots of trees. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent ocean side picknic ground across the street. Clean and a good place to tide pools.

Nice For The Area
While mostly a campground for tents, it does offer a good location for the RVer to access Acadia national park. Note as with many national park campgrounds they do not have showers.
