Peaceful
This is our first time here in about 7 years. The roads have deteriorated alot as have the site areas, ground level to pad. The camp host makes frequent rounds and it is very peaceful. The kids have enjoyed the playground and the beach and there are lots of trails around the park. If you want good Lakeview I suggest 27 thru 41 on the big point, the rest are nice but there is alot of vegetation blocking you. All of the pads on the lakeside from 44 to 56 aren't level but are still manageable. Make sure to bring your pit if you want to grill, there are no park grills on these sites. Water is clean and power is stable. Very nice boat launch. Don't forget anything, the closest real store is 20 miles away. Plenty of shoreline for fishing and there are floating docks all the way around the point. Our picnic table was below the hill and not very convenient. The road in was in bad shape and very hilly, hope your brakes work. Walk the trails, they are nice.

Nice Park
State roads and interior park roads are in serious need of resurfacing. Sites are not crowded, and grounds are well maintained. Heavily wooded between sites and lake. Very friendly staff. Simple visitors center.

Great Little Park
Spent a weekend in this small, but nice park. Some sites have decks right off the pad - we will try for one of those next time. There are trails, playgrounds, and a small man-made beach. The road in is a little rough and you may need extra leveling supplies for some of the pads. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well attended to. Some sites have better lake views than others. Calling the park to ask for recommended sites might be the best way to go.
