First Time At Diamond Lake.
The good and the bad: Bad: 1. Sites are very small. So small that if we had neighbors their sewage was going to be 2ft from our table or 5 ft from our camper door. 2. Arriving day we couldn't get much help from anyone in the store. With that being said, it was also Halloween weekend. When we first arrived, we had a nice young lady who was honest and told us it was her first day. People in the store were a different story. Good: 1. Great activities for kids and adults. I give 5 stars. The dance party and the movie was a major reason we would possibly return. 2. Great WiFi. 3. Our site was C46. Great sunset and very close to the store, lakes and Go Carts. ( Wind does blow hard there). 4. Very clean. 5. The movie theater and pizza place were so perfect.

This campground was built in the mid 60's to early 70's.It was built when pop-up campers were the norm. Today's 5th wheels and 25 foot and larger pull behinds will have a hard time. Sites are small and close together. Golf carts and 4 wheelers are super popular to the point that there are way too many filling up the roads. The pay lake is roughly 75 yards long and 20 yards wide but it is stocked often. Kids will have fun here. We just came off this weekend there. It was an active weekend because a local radio station was doing their camp country weekend. When we were packing up it came time to drain one of the gray tanks (we were on sewer). We noticed the sewer water had filled up to the top of the fitting in the ground. We decided to dump at the dump station. Before we could get everything loaded the sewer water(black water) was overflowing and fecal matter was everywhere. Had to stand in 2" of black water to hook camper to truck. Probably wont be back.

Relaxing
We just spent a week at this campground and it was great. There are a lot of reviews on this place and not all good but we will definitely be back. The sites are close together but you still have plenty of room. They have golf carts to rent but their prices are a little high. WiFi is great you pay by the day or week. Nice laundry area. They have go carts tracks, putt putt, and paddle boats. There is a charge for these but not sure how much. They serve great food in the cafe and have a small store. It’s a great place for kids to be kids. Management is great. Will definitely be back.

Diamond in the Rough
This must have been a stunning RV park...30 years ago. Situated around a series of small lakes, this RV park has potential, but routine maintenance has clearly been neglected for some time now. The many on-site amenities include fishing, paddle boats, restaurant, haunted house and go-kart track. Who ever built this park did it right, but it now has the feel of a park that is far past it's prime.

Clean park with lots to do! Sites are a little small and can be difficult getting larger campers in. Lot of family friendly activities to do, from paddle boats to go carting, also a pay lake.

This is a very nice place to camp. The staff is very helpful and keep it clean. They also have showers, laundry Station, dump Station, lakes to fish and also a pay Lake they stock often. Lots of activities for kids to do through out the season. One of our favorite places to camp.
