Off Season Review
Sketchy cell service on Verizon, 1 bar at best but it worked enough for this review. I was here off season so I parked with my 17 foot trailer despite it being a tent only campground. It can handle small trailers. Camp spots are close together, some shade some sun. Gravel road, just a loop. Last time I was here the ferry was running. Kind of sad to see how our park system is just deteriorating over the years.
You need to make a reservation to camp here, there is no on-site registration. I was able to make a reservation upon my arrival. Thank goodness for the cell service.
It's very peaceful and quiet. There is an occasional car and truck that come down to the end of the dead end road. They sit for a while untll a friend comes in another car in parks next to them. In short order they then leave. Yeah, you figure it out.
.
The road back is a bit much for a large rig. The pavement is deteriorating. Potta pots and dumpsters are the facilities.
