Beautiful campground, large, lots of sites. Nice distance between sites for the most part. Most level gravel. Only complaint, this feels like a race track; golf carts everywhere, hardly anyone walking? People just driving around? Goes on all day. Weekends of are almost full. Locals take over!! Ft Donelson battlefield just north few miles.

Nice campground but no cover between campsites so you can see lots of other campers around you. Surprisingly quiet place for as full as it was when we were there.

Stayed April 13-15 in a "rustic cabin." A 1 room with bunk beds and a double bed for $50/ night. Ceiling fan, window A/C, and portable heater, a picnic table. I don't have an RV so this was great especially because it rained about 4 inches that weekend.
I have tent camped here several times before on other hunting trips. Restrooms are clean and showers are great. Staff is warm and friendly. Camp store is convenient for snacks, firewood, and ice, etc. I plan to go back in a few weeks for squirrel hunting and bass fishing.

First, I've only stayed there once, that was for a month in the fall of 2017. The staff at this campground are about as nice as I've ever seen before. Very helpful and not like Campground dictators that obsess over the smallest of things. Very laid back people. The restrooms and shower houses were very clean.
It's so large you could almost always find a spot there, even on the weekends. The launch ramp is ample but the courtesy dock is small and shallow. When the water is low one really needs to use caution pulling up to it. That's pretty much the case on much of the lake though.
One BIG complaint for me (which they have no control over) is the lack of cell phone/internet access. At least with ATT wireless. That's a biggy for me as I usually am camping alone and I enjoy being able to browse the web in the evenings. Aside from that, I highly recommend the campground. Again, the friendly and super helpful staff plays a big part in that.

Very nice clean campground. Attendees were very kind. Grounds keeper were friendly. Bathhouse was clean and roomy. A bit confusing following the signs to campsite. 386 sites it is understandable. Will recommend to everyone who camps
