We stayed here on recommendations from a fellow camper, very nice spot that we were allowed to pick next to the water. These were larger with more room on both sides. A little humid. Site concrete and very level. Quiet. Bathrooms across the way clean. Dog area a little far to walk, but divided for large and small dogs, very nice, shaded, grassy, large. Dam near the large open field. Lot of canada geese and otters hanging around the creek, a joy to watch. One night turned into more. Would stay here again. The only reason for four stars is no after hours number to reach anyone if there is a problem.

Very Nice And Peaceful
We were right on the water, back in site. Very level! Beautiful bathrooms and showers, very friendly. If I ha e 1 negative, they are close spots. You hear everything as neighbor sitting area is within 6 feet of your camper.

Great Place To Camp
We have stayed there twice already this year (2021) and have another reservation for November. Beautiful, well maintained campground with sites creek side. Bathhouse appears new and was spotless both times. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place to stay even when the place is full. I see many more visits in my future.

We stayed in the back close to the creek on 10/22/21 and had a very nice stay. The lady in the office was super nice and helpful. It is true that the sites are tight with the center rows being the hardest to get in but if your not great at backing up stay in the outer sites or get a pull thru. During our stay it was full but surprisingly quiet and everything was clean and tidy, even in the full time rv spots. Bathrooms clean, nice playground, fun fishing . We will be back.

It Works, But….
Middle area with sewer h/u is very tight. Had only a couple inches behind us to other camper. Not a lot of truck parking area. This campground packs them in! BUT…great location to visit the distilleries. Lovely horse pastures. No restaurants to speak of! Lawrenceburg - good lunch place “Betsys”.

Great Place, Clean
Spent 2 nights here while we went to the Ark Encounter. No sewer hook-up but easy dump station. Definitely will stay here again if we're near. Looked like kids were having a good time

Good Stay
100 spots in the park but only the interior ones have sewer at the site, otherwise the dump station is by the showers. Good safe playground and area for kids. There are about 25% of the sites occupied by full time residents. Helpful staff that are very nice. Layout has many perimeter sites that back up to the creek and wooded area, then interior sites stacked beside each other. Sites were mostly concrete and some rock. Easy access to distillery tours and 2 min drive into town for needs or fuel.

First time here.
Very nice place. Most spots are close together, but manageable. Fishing is awesome. We used crickets. Sun bellys, crappy, and bass were hitting just about every time we cast. Our spot was right on the water. We paid $121.00 for 3 nights, but it is worth it. Fire ring is just a fire ring. Nice and small. We went to to local Goodwill and found a oven rack to use on top on fire ring as a grill. Worked perfectly!! Because the sites are close together, we had alot of smoke (smell) get into our camper. Blah. We had the windows open though. Playground, arcade, pool, golf is nice. Shopping is 2 miles down the road. We must be close to a private air field. There was a small plane flying over. Saw a helicopter flying with his spot light on twice. INTERNET WAS FINE in our spot (site #15). I know that is important to some people. The bath house is VERY NICE. Roads are narrow, but manageable. We will be back!!!

Fun Place
Had a great time. Nice views along the river. Sites are spaced out better along the perimeter than the pull thrus. Seen lots of wildlife.Geese,turtles,muskrat. All amenities were well kept up. My girlfriend and I both loved this place.

Stayed Early April 2019
My husband and I stayed at campground a couple days, enjoyed it so much extended to a week. The grounds are well cared for, bathrooms recently remodeled and clean, the owners and family are helpful and wonderful people. We will return and stay longer next time, hopefully. Frankfort has alot to offer but this campground my favorite to date.

Saved Our Bacon
When we arrived, we were told they could not provide us with a site for all three nights we wanted to be in Frankfort. ... told them we have small unit and she fanagled us a spot they don't usually rent... the campground is full... she said it is full nearly every weekend so if'n you plan to stay here, make a reservation! They had an ice cream social on saturday night with free ice cream with toppings! We will be staying here again!

We stayed here during our first leg of the Bourbon Trail. It was conveniently located and really a nice park. We were a little concerned because when we made reservations, the person on the phone wasn't as personable as we're used to; but upon checking they were very pleasant. Seemed like a lot of long term stay folks in the park.

Booked this place a month in advance for four nights. Arrived and they assigned us dump of s site! There are several paved sites and we ended up with site they call a pull through that is barely rocked. Step out the door and all you have is weedy grass and dirt! Access to the park is tight; the sites are tight, and the park roads and turns are tight for a 40’ plus motorhome. If you are traveling with any large unit, be it motorhome or whatever that you care for, I would NOT suggest this place.

Ok
Sites close together and river next to it ver small and muddy. Ok for a day or two, but not longer. Clean park and if u have kids has ok pool, putt putt and arcade. Owners very nice. Turn off into camp ground was a challenge for large pull campers due to city fixing a bridge at almost the turn. Campsites very close together

Great RV Campground
This campground is nice. The sites with FHU are close together but manageable. The other sites are a little more separated. We stayed here with friends (2 RVS) so being close was OK with us! Access was easy, my GARMIN was spot on! Everyone is friendly. Lots to do in the park and in the area. If you like fishing, the park is bordered by Elkhorn Creek. Good WiFi signal, too!
