This park recently changed hands. The new owners are very friendly and kind people. Good food at the on sight restaurant . Right of of I-70. I would definitely stay here again!

Ok Place Off I70
Wifi unusable, pool looked nice on a 98 degree day buy we didn’t go in. Some full timers and level spots but any grass that once flanked the pull thru spots has turned to stickers and weeds. Bathrooms adequate but could use cleaning, motel also on property which is their main business I think.

Rude Rude Rude
Receptionist that answered the phone was rude and had an attitude from the beginning. Very judgemental and condescending. Didn’t stay here.

So many Stickers!
Perfectly adequate. Full hookups. Wide spaces. But OMG the stickers! This park has so much potential with a little work. Overpriced for the condition it’s currently in.

Convenient but we missed the sign and had to turn around on a service road. Clean showers and bathroom. Clerk or was she owner give a 5 minute diatribe of rules, disclaimers and promotions. Hard to listen to it especially if one is tired. Lots of spike weed stickers. Jake brakes and flies. OK for a night though. Would stay again.

Leaving Normal
This wasn't as bad as some say. We spent one nite and really enjoyed the food and staff was great .Bugs were not bad. Windy somewhat but overall it's ok. I really didn't like the sandspurs. Check in was easy.

Keep driving
Stayed here one night on the way to Ouray. The campsites are fully functional with the basics. Full hookups with 50 amp service for the big rigs. Sites are level and nicely spaced. Cable TV was not watchable. Checked with the group next to us and they had the same issue. The area in general is pretty run down. The steakhouse is closed. Mini golf closed. I think the biggest reason for my low rating was the question asked when checking in, “Does your unit have a full bathroom?” I answered yes and was told to use the bathroom in my RV and not the campground bathrooms or showers. First time I’ve ever been told that. Definitely will keep driving the next time thru.

Maybe Campground
We didn’t Enjoy the smell of the stockyard close by, the fact that we are parked on grass which means we could bog down in their turf, owners attitude not good, WiFi not good. You decide.

One Night
We stopped mid afternoon because of the pool. We were not disappointed in the pool. The sites were level and a mix of grass and gravel. We were parked in a section away from everyone including the pool. Water is very low pressure but the cable and wi fi worked great. No shade. Hotter than hot. The pool was cold to get into but once you were in extremely refreshing. Did not use bathrooms or laundry. Would spend another night if in the area.

Would Stay Here Again
Called from the road, very polite and pleasant interaction. We were able to get a spot, full hook ups, pretty level packed gravel. Much better than boondocking. We would come back here.

Keep Trucking Down The Road
We stayed one night. We found the staff to be rude and the facilities to be wanting for the price. The place is similar to one of Cinderella's step-sisters, ugly and unaware of their place in the world. After 3 great days in Kansas, our last stay leaves a bad taste. Just take the extra drive time and stay in a state park. I would even recommend a hotel before I would recommend this place. If truly desperate I would recommend Walmart in Colby. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

Good Park, Lots Of Rules
We stayed here for 1 night, the park is conveniently located right off of the interstate and across from a large gas station making it nice for a stop while trekking across the country. The park itself is large, peaceful, set in a country field, and offers many pull through spaces. However, the service and rules at the park are a little different than other places we've stayed. We were continuously reminded that smoking is not allowed outdoors in the park (even after we informed them we didn't smoke), and there are signs and rules for everything. The pool was open and available, and there is a kids splash pad that they will set up if you ask but we got the feeling that the park desires to cater more to adults than families. Other than that, not many attractions around and the mini golf they once had is no longer there.

Stayed For A Night
Nice place to stay for a night. Mini golf was fun. Rented a movie. Nice staff. Do not, I repeat, do not use your awning!! It was incredibly windy. Never have been in that kind of wind before with out it being a thunderstorm. Clean bathrooms, and level sites. Didn't hear the interstate at all. Maybe cause of the wind....

Run Down
Host was constantly promoting the pub on the site and how highly rated their restaurant was. Went to try the pub and there was no AC, only 12 tables, and the server said it would be about an hour before we could be seated. So walked 100' to the Colonial Steakhouse and had an amazing meal! Plus excellent AC and prompt service. The campground was full of sticker bushes. My dogs were covered in them from their paws to their bellies. Level sites but I found holes to trip in around the hookups so people use caution so you don't twist your ankle. She said they got antennae reception but I got nothing. The putt putt course had weeds 2' tall and greens torn up and blown by the wind. Pool was closed for the season. The things they promoted about their facility were either run down, closed or not available.

Great Stop
This was a great place to stop on a cross country trip. Great restaurant on site and decent pool for the kids. Cable was spotty, but still a nice place to stay at a good price.

Excellent Location
Needed a one night stopover and High Plains was super convenient. Great cable hookup, decent wifi, nice hot shower. Looked like some permanent residents, but everything was well cared for.

This is a great rv campground. It's small but has lots to do. Putt putt, horseshoes, restaurant and full liquor bar on site at great prices. All pull thru lots. We loved it. Located right off interstate. Shopping and site seeing just 4 miles away.
