Road trip West from Ohio. Free campsite. Set up tents right next to lake. Rode mountain bikes around the lake to burn some energy after long drive. Peaceful weekday and good nights rest. A little windy, but beautiful sunrise. Packed up and drove out. Close to I-70 and free to camp. Nice beginning to Epic adventures in OK, NM and CO.

Calming Camping

Mostly just the sound of nature. Ocassionally the locals will up the noise level on weekends. Very poor cell signal at the lake. Encourages to break free from internet obsessions. Food, fuel, water, dump station And showers in town.
