Would Stay Again
It deserves more than a 1 . Seam’s typical of other GS campgrounds. We have a 38 ft trailer with slide outs both sides and had plenty of room. Laundry worked bathrooms were clean staff was great.

Junky
Best thing about this park is its location is convenient to tourist destinations. Otherwise the place is junky with many long term campers that are an eyesore. Sites are small & many are not level. No grass…all gravel…not a place you would even want to sit outside. And don’t sit on the picnic table…you will get sap on your pants. Yuck!

RV Park or Junk Yard?
Turning in, I would’ve thought I was at the wrong place, save someone directing me in. Kyle was very friendly and helpful and this review is not about him. The lots are TINY. There was barely room for my pop out, and no room at all for the awning. There wasn’t a blade of grass to be found. $51 for the night was insane in my opinion. The bathroom was clean. There was only one shower in the ladies room.

Great Location
Stayed 4 nights, would stay again. Our pull thru site was very roomy with picnic table and fire pit. Friendly and helpful employees. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Pet friendly. Close to downtown Kansas City. My only complaint is low water pressure.

This RV park has good gravel sites. The sites are close together. The power has 50 amps and you will need an adapter from 50 to 30 if needed. Everything is clean and nice. I would return again.

Not Bad
Not a luxury park in anyway but fine for a day or two stopover.

Absolutely the worst campground we've ever stayed in. Looked more like a trailer park/junk yard than a campground. It should never be associated with "Good Sam", let alone have a rating of any kind. One star is one too many.

Walnut Grove RV Park
This was the first place we stayed with our 5th wheel. They had 50 amp hookup, water, sewer, pull through transient sites (only room for slide outs in most spaces, no awnings, and very close to neighbor rvs). The spots were not very level, they are gravel lot spaces. All things considered, it was quiet even though the park was full. They told us the wifi was sketchy but we actually got a really good signal during the day. The small dog park at the end was minimal but accomodated our two dogs on their leashes. We met several full timers who stop by frequently. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms have curtains, no doors, shower and toilet stalls. They have a tornado shelter and small convenience store with some RV parts in case you need regular items. There is a list for anyone wanting to stay for a month and a discount for the second month of approx. 50$. All in all, not a bad site considering it is so close to lots iof great places in Kansas City.

Highly disappointed, spaces are not even wide enough for one slide and our awning, the young woman at the counter was very nice and offered to cancel the rest of our stay! After 10 years of cross country camping, this ranked bottom 5 of over 100+ nights camping. May be convenient to KC but that's it. Won't go back.
