Amazing place to camp - like an oasis in the prairie! Super nice camp host. Nice and quiet with big cottonwood trees. In Cimarron River Valley. Reasonable at $15 a night.

This place is great! I stayed one night passing through on a Monday. I was the only one there. Level concrete pads for almost all sites, water and electric for $15! Squeaky, (the awesome camp host), and his volunteers have been working on this place for several years. It has over seven miles of mowed nature trails, nice playground, hot clean showers, and lots of wildlife! A dozen tom turkeys greeted me when i pulled in, rabbits, coons and deer are everywhere. Oh, and if you are worried, the have plenty of concrete storm shelters throughout the camp. I would love to stay a week next time! Thanks Squeaky for all the hard work and friendly advice!

Very nice camp host, nice shady trees.
Oasis in the plains. Electric helped with the hot temps.
