Lots of camping options

Large state park with many different areas to camp which are spread out over a large area around the lake. For FHU choose Walnut River section, Eagle Pass loop or Bluestem section, Sunflower Meadows loop. Sites are pretty well spaced and level throughout park. Shade is most available in Walnut River section which is below the dam. City of Eldorado is nearby for any supplies. Verizon signal adequate. Very close to I-35 and 25 miles from Wichita.

Lake And Lots Of Sites

Entry fee for car and differing fees for prime sites in a huge flat parklike setting around one side of the lake. Amenities block a bit windy as its open roofed and cold water showers make for a summer camping experience.
