Beautiful Campground

We planned this trip for convenience to I64 and that it is half the price of Indiana State parks. We were very surprised how nice it really is. Paved pads with water on each site, shaded, and nice shower house. Once we found the right phone number for the sheriff's office a really nice deputy came to collect our fee and even checked back later to make sure we were okay since we were here to ourselves. Very pleased with the beauty and seclusion.

Overnight Stay

Very difficult to find as there is only a sign at the entrance of the campsite. Lady on phone said it cost 20 dollars a night but when we got there a deputy from the sheriffs office came to unlock the electric box he said it cost 15.00. The signs at the clean bathroom which was super hot inside Displayed it was 15.00 a night. So not sure why she said 20? Rubbers on the ground near the bath house. It was quiet but unfortunate that there was lots of trash at the site. Poison ivy around the electric hook up. There was 5 long term trailers there that appeared to be there for quite some time. Pretty scary looking. Deputy was really nice

Little Jewel For The Night

Completely agree with what Was said above. It’s peaceful and quite. Bathhouse is simple but clean and VERY much heated. Only $15 a night

Great Night in Small Park

What a find in the woods on a hilltop not far from I64. Several new level concrete pads. WELL HEATED bath/shower. Great overnight. Would stay again.
