Very pretty park on lovely lake. Rangers really nice and very helpful. Campsites reasonably spaced. Good value. Would have preferred sewage on campsite. Decent showers.

Beautiful State Park

This park is only 45 minutes from our home and made for a nice weekend getaway. Premium sites on the inner loop cost extra but have sewer hookups. Regular sites on the outside loop are more spacious and back up to either the woods or lake. Three mile hike around the lake was perfect. Very cool outdoor exercise equipment on the way to the boat ramp. Will definitely return.

One Of The Best

Very nice park. We loved the lake view on site 8 easy back in like most of the sites on the campground which we personally observe. Good staff will return.

Beautiful Campground

The spaces are spread out, and very pretty. Each site has a cement pad, which is very level, a picnic table, and a pole to hang year bikes or boats, I guess. It also has beautiful shade trees. You can see the lake from most sites. There are paths to walk or ride your bike, and a playground. There are bathrooms, but I didnt go in. It was quiet except for when parents let their kids scream and make crazy noises at the playground. I don't know, but my parents always hushed me when I was too loud so people could enjoy the peace and quiet, but I guess parents don't do that these days. It's a shame they are so selfish. It made me have to go inside on a beautiful day. It was beyond loud and ridiculous. It's not the park's fault, so I'm still giving 5 stars.

Good value

Spent 8 days during hurricane Florence. Clean showers, good sites (many paved), staff very accommodating. Close to Waycross and services. Park also had cabins. Highly recommend.

Small, Well Kept, Friendly

Very nice little park, beautiful large and level sites, along a small lake. Everything is clean, well maintained. Nice trails for nature observation. Golf nearby.

Busy small camping area. Sites can be tight to back in to. Bathrooms nice and lake and grounds nice. Flat sites. Here during weekday - out of season and 50 percent full. Lots of hiking trails
