Excellent option for St. Augustine area. Very clean with pristine bath house. Large pull thrus with plenty of room. We stayed in sites 78 and 79. Don't miss the fresh seafood market right next door.

Dated park with sites too close. Location is perfect however. Walking distance to ocean and short drive to downtown St Augustine. 44’ motorhome.

This is a great KOA site - centrally located so it’s easier to get to all the main attractions in St. Augustine and the trolly does pick-ups at he main entrance on the hour! Very peaceful grounds and great for dogs too since there is a fenced dog park. Gordon at the front desk is super helpful and funny! He gave a lot of good tips on some of the local food venues to check out. Would definitely like to return and stay again for a longer duration.

Expensive Tent Camping
The campground is clean, friendly staff. The bathrooms aren’t terrible for campground bathrooms. It’s close to restaurants and shopping. A short bike ride to the beach. It’s just not a good campground if you are tent camping. Tiny spaces and NO privacy. And you are camping behind a shopping center. They charge way too much for tent spots. But other than that it’s okay.

We’ve stayed at the KOA before and have always had a great experience. The location is ideal for seeing downtown St.Augustine. The office staff is very nice and the office was open until 8pm which was great since we ran late to check-in. KOA has a great membership program that saved us $30. The sites are asphalt. There are individual fire pits and the patio furniture included with the site are awesome.

Location is great for seeing sights. Noise level quite high since it basically backs up to A1A. Several campers had bikes stolen over the month we were there. Security is very lax for an urban campground. Laundry facilities are adjacent to men’s bathroom and had a very unpleasant odor at times. Staff pleasant and plentiful. Can’t complain about the cleanliness of this park.

We love staying at this KOA. Its close enough to the beach and downtown St. Augustine. My kids enjoy the peddle boats the lake and the pool.
