Just bought a new Class A motorhome and decided to make a local practice run to get used to it. I made reservations through Encore RV Resorts. I found the campground through Passport America. We decided on a one night rental. When we checked in they showed us the site on the map. It was across the street from the dumpsters. I told them it was too close, so they moved me a few sites down. The site was very wet due to rain and poor drainage. Half of the campground was old park models. There was no cable tv hookups, and WiFi was $5 a day. The site electrical hookup was old. The roads were narrow and poorly maintained. So why would you rent sites to customers and put them near the dumpsters? Not a good first impression! Luckily, it only cost me $21 due to the Passport America 50% discount. Does Passport America have certain standards for campgrounds, or can any campground become part of the network? Skip this campground. I guess this is the first review on Park Advisor. Wish there was.
