Absolutely beautiful sunrises! The lots are strangely layed out. The lots numbers are posted on the wrong side of the marker if going down the road to properly back in. The spots are tight and unlevel. In many of the lots the hook ups are on the wrong side in terms on backing in. Our anchored firepit was about 4 feet from our power box this made me a bit uneasy on starting a fire

Nice

All and all not bad. Some of the sites are tight others are great. Maintained as good as any And they do catch decent fish. There was free firewood when we were there. We did not use the bath facilities

Not Maintained

Quiet in the middle of nowhere. Lake was nice. Grass not mowed or trimmed. Tall grass at our site. No privacy at all. Shower was not good. Dirty and no water pressure.

Atmosphere is good. Not a lot of traffic. Everyone says they didn’t catch fish. Maybe needs a restock. Bathrooms are new but the showers head is awful in all stalls. Water gets all over the floor and it’s hard to keep you clean clothes dry when are trying to get dressed. Clean place host is nice.

First Camping Theft

There was zero security when we camped here and had our first theft while camping. Someone actually stole our spare tire cover off of our tow car. Also, the Forest camps now require reservations. If you’ve had previous experience with ReserveAmerica, you’re aware that this is not a good thing.
