Great State Park

We were only there for a quick overnight. Beautiful campground (we were in Lake loop). Lots of trails to explore. Plenty of bike riding opportunities. Clean bathhouse with laundry facility. Mostly level, shady sites in our loop. We were impressed.

Always a pleasant stay here. There's nothing remarkable about the place, but it is quite comfortable with good cell reception. Two thumbs up.

nice stay

we stayed at site 55, a pull thru with partial shade. No trouble leveling our travel trailer. Bath house is always clean, but hot because no air conditioning. A great place to relax and enjoy wild life. Some were swimming in the roped off area of the lake, but too much sea weedy stuff for us! Saw a number of deer, turkeys, turtles! All the staff is friendly! Camp host is on top of keeping sites clean and mowed, in addition to being nice and pleasant.

Sets The Standard

We loved our 5 night stay. The stars were brilliant. This park is beautiful with stunning white sand streams. We saw deer, sand hill cranes, an owl and a gopher tortoise. The camp sites were spacious, clean and wooded. We enjoyed the quiet nights and warm sunny afternoons in the sand by one of the lakes. We rode our bikes and walked the trails. We will be back!

Great First Time Outing

This was our first outing in our new travel trailer. The reservations were easy to set up. We enjoyed our site by the lake. The restroom and shower were a great addition. This was a fantastic stay for first-time campers.
