It’s Okay, But Not Great

Site: 152 Pros: Location, Promoxity to Kayak Trails (Pennekamp), Nautical Feel, Full Hookups Cons: Small Narrow Lots/Roads, Eccentric Homes (Most Spaces are Owners), Oudated Public Spaces (pool, bathrooms, etc.), Beach is Blah (and No Dogs Allowed), Limited Grassy Areas for Pups Overall: 6.5/10 would recommend it

What a gem of a place been coming here every year for the last 20 plus years the grounds are kept up top notch, pool is very nice camp sites are nice size considering your in the Keys close proximity to Publix and K-Mart along with many other stores and restuarants just outside the campground if there is any negative it would be limit to no WiFi at the camp sites but full WiFi at the Store/Office area. I might sound a little selfish by saying this but I hope no one else discovers this place.

Stayed here 3 nights in site 72 and loved it! Loved being right on the water Staff was friendly Camp Store doesn’t have much Pool was nice No-see-ums were absolutely terrible so bring spray, but we didn’t let that put a damper on the paradise of this campground Kids loved being able to dive right into the bay from our private deck! Can’t wait to go back

Nice Place...

This is a resident owned camp run by an owners group. There are a majority permanent mobiles and very regular long term folks. Spaces are a bit tight for a large rig but hookups are solid, with many refurbished recently. The grounds are clean and well kept, facilities are also clean but they are dated so don’t expect new. Folks are nice if treated as such. Plan to pay a cash deposit for digital cable box and 24hr entry key fob but you get that back at departure. Yes, there is a max dog policy and that comes from a camper not leashing a large dog and a bite incident. Shame on the owner. Otherwise a really nice place with big pool and great water access if towing your boat.

Called to reserve a site. Staff very rude, blunt. Inquired about pets. They only allow pets up to 40 pounds. I said I have a lab at 75 lbs. He said nope. 40 lb limit. My lab is old with a large hole in his heart and pulmonary hypertension. Couldn’t hurt a flea. Won’t be staying there.

From a rating of 1 to 10 it's a Eleven. Excellent service and the sites are a million dollar view. Clean professionally kept up. Security is fantastic. Just lay back and soak up that vitamin D. Chris Graham Canadian Veteran.

Great Place

Stay for a few days with my grand kids we had so much fan they enjoy fishing walking to K Mart, the pool, WI-FI by the club house. Tyne only negative thing my in laws I their 90s babe to visit just for two hours buy weren't allowed to a stay. So they turn back never saw them. No good.

Good location, relatively clean throughout, close to Kmart and Publix (walking ). Friendly staff. Would recoomend
