Not What We Were Expecting
This campground is very basic. Nothing wrong with that but the sites don't have water. One can fill up their holding tanks and we did. We were just there for 1 night so that worked. They do have a bathhouse. It IS close to the drive on beach. It is a little primitive for us but doable for a short stay. We probably won't come back but just because it's not our type of campground. There is Nothing wrong with this campground just be prepared to fill up your water take....there are some unique views from the park

Awesome Family Camp Ground
This place is so awesome. If you like a quiet family environment, this is the place for you. The park rangers and staff are amazing and helpful. They are currently installing power to all of there sites. They have a potable water fill station, dump station, bathrooms and showers. If you get a chance you must check out the nature center, there you will learn a lot about the native area wild life. There is also 2 beaches to chose from...a more secluded and calm Family Beach with grills for cooking out and gazebos to rent through COJ for a nominal fee. The other beach has waves and you can drive on. This is best camping location if you love the beach!

Crowded uneven campsites, filthy toilets and showers. Beach is OK campground awful. Shouldn't even rate one star.
