read such great reviews and really appreciated making a space for our rig since you were full. Letting us dry dock was fantastic, but charging me $25.00 I felt was extremely high since we used none of your utilities and were you parked us was just a grassy space. Plus you need to update your rates on Passport America It is my fault that I didn't ask the price when I called won't make that mistake again and I won't be staying here again either

Great Stop
We stop here regularly going to and from Orlando. We love this park. It is easy on and off I-10 with a truck stop nearby to fill up. We haven’t stayed more than 1 night but we highly recommend.

Great Over Night Spot
Staff was very friendly even though we came in late and it was dark. The park is clean and nicely landscaped. There was highway noise but that's what makes it nice, being close to the highway easy access. They had real good paths to walk the dogs, and even had dog parks. Definitely would come back to stay again.

Nice Well Kept Park
Very nice park, close to Interstate I10. Pros: Neat and clean, pull thru level sites, good water pressure. Con: Very close to Interstate I10, my site was less than 100 yards away. A lot of road noise. I ran a portable fan to help mask the noise. I did not have any trouble sleeping. Would use again when inroute.

A gem of a place. Well maintained and easy in and out, although the approach road needs some work (not the park’s responsibility). Level sites, some pull through, some back in. Management is friendly and accommodating. Well worth a stop on our way from Florida to Texas.

Great Place To Stay
Was passing through on our way out west to see the national parks, and needed a place to stay for one night and wanted easy access from I-10, the reviews were good so gave it a try, Vonda was great just as other reviewers stated, great little campground and definitely big rig friendly, I was able to park my 39’ fifth wheel stay hooked to my tow vehicle and still had room left over, all sites have asphalt killings but work just fine, will definitely be stopping again if in the area and would have no problem staying awhile

Easy in and out. Very nice and helpful owner. Escorts you to spot. No amenities, no bathrooms. But 28per night with good Sam. You do hear traffic from i10 but still good for overnight. Loves accross street.

Stayed at the campground September 2020. Vonda is amazing and makes sure everyone gets to their spot and gets settled in with no problems. The park is nice, clean and will definitely stay there any time we’re in that area. Easy in and out. Located on the road across from the Love’s Truck Stop. Don’t let narrow road concern you.

No signs when you come off the interstate so recommend you put it in your navigation, don't let the narrow road scare you, its fine. Very friendly owner, great power, easy in and out. Will stay here again when in the area.

Great Place On A Bad Weekend
My wife and I were having a bad weekend, dog developed a bladder infection, marital stresses, Labor day idiots, etc. We made reservations at the Hitching Post to be centrally located between Dothan, Tallahassee and Panama City. Planned on going all these places but ended up staying at the park. Vonda is awesome and the park is quiet and relaxing even being close to the I-10. Highly recommend. It doesn't have all the amenities of some but it doesn't have all the annoying people either. The sites are mostly pull-throughs, level with excellent hook ups. Each spot has a table and chairs. As many have mentioned there are two fenced in dog areas so your furbabies can run around off leash. Poopie stations are everywhere for cleanups while walking. Very pet friendly for good dogs. Will be back.

Charming Campground!
Nice little campground surrounded by trees. The owner is very very nice. It’s a little noisy next to a 10 but it’s also noisy if you’ve ever been by the ocean! LOL good place to stay and right off the highway so it’s very convenient. No showers available yet.

Very Welcoming
Vonda is the prefect owner, she wants you to be happy, it shows that she loves this place. She has worked hard after hurricane did a lot of damage. We had 40 ft pulling and did not want to unhook for one night stay, she had a site for us, brought a load of fire wood for a fire and checked on us later. She makes sure you are happy and she cares about you.

Nicest Campground Owner Ever
I never write reviews but......Vonda is an amazing owner. More importantly, she’s a special human being. Just so warm, personable, and positive. Stayed two nights In November as we head home to Florida after a 3 month trip. Our campsite was gravel but level. Full hook ups and pull through for our 35’ 5th wheel. Vonda provided us with everything you need to know about the faculties. We appreciated the country feel with horses on the facility. You can tell she’s a very patriotic person as she offered me a nice discount being a Vietnam veteran. American and armed forces flags are posted throughout the facility. One note is there are few services near this. A couple large gas stations are a mile or so away. Obviously I recommend Hitching Post Campground. We will definitely make this a several day stay during next years trip.

Nice Campground
Nice, wooded campground. Level gravel spaces with a fire ring and picnic table. Owners/host very friendly. Horse and rabbits on the property which the host let the kids feed. Lots of games to play and there’s a small swing set too. No issues with WiFi, electric, or water pressure. Overall, it was an enjoyable overnight stay. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Vonda is the nicest person! The park is quiet and you never know what types of animals that you'll see. One morning when taking the dogs to the dog park we seen a beaver!! There is a fishing pond but we didn't get around to fishing. There are cute, white rabbits hopping around. Vonda was bottle raising a dwarf goat while we were there. I loved it, but I also love goats. She even has a pen for horses! I recommend this park to everyone! It's such a treat to stay there!!! Would stay again!!!!

Gem Of A Place!
This park was apparantly destroyed by the hurricane. They have worked hard to bring it back to life. Vonda is so friendly and really rolled out the red carpet. The park is small and backs-up to the freeway, but the spots are pull-thru and more than amply sized to accommodate big rigs. We tow a 42 footer and had no problems getting into a spot. VERY reasonably priced! Full hook-ups, level graveled spots, and a fenced dog area. We stopped just for the night on our way through, but we would definitely stay here again and wish we had more time to park here for awhile on this trip.

Great Service
This park was totally destroyed by hurricane. They are doing a great job of restoring it. Very basic. Only stayed overnight. Got there at 5:20 and were met by Vonda, she gave us a senior discount and when I insisted she take a couple dollars extra she said then it would be a discount/. She escorted us to our site and placed a doormat at our steps. The fire pit was ready to light with wood already gathered. Not a resort, but a wonderful friendly atmosphere with large spaces and great service. Would stop again.

Now remind your self that this park was totally destroyed by Hurricane Michael. The owner and brother had been busting them selfs to get it back up and what a greater job. This place is just awsome in my opinion. Althought no showers but i dont care i use my Motorhome bath. They have this place cleaned and still doing repairs. It does sit back to I -10 but that was ok as i sat around a camp fire watching traffic. If you love the camping atomsphere this place is great. 30/50 amp, watet and sewer, nice size lots, big rig friendly, owners are awsome folks.only 40 min from beaches....cant day enough...if every through herr again ill stop and syay awhile.

A True Gem
We are on our way to Utah and stopped for the night. Vonda, one of the owners personally escorted us to or spot, gave us a green piece of artificial turf to keep our RV Clean and then proceed to gather wood and twigs for our evening fire. Full hook up pull through for $40. What a bargain. Vonda and her husband are gems

What a great gem to find as we traveled to Pensacola FL. The park is two years young and the owners are absolutely fabulous. Very accommodating. WiFi, satellite, dog parks, pond for fishing and paddle boats. Every kind of game a little kid and big kid would like to play. A nice nature a path around the park. Park is newly graveled and large pull thru sites that you don’t have to unhook. Full hook up with nice wooden table and chairs and grass at site. We will be back!

Check It Out
Fairly level, grassy and some gravel. Not as dirty as you would expect. Love the 2, large and small dog parks they put in. Nice walk on the trail over to their pond. Dog friendly, no burrs or nasty stickers. Owners are awesome. Yes it is close to the freeway, but traffic noise doesn't bother us. They have done a lot to make this park great.

We stayed here one night with 35ft fifth wheel and the pull through site was LEVEL and we didn't have to unhitched. Clean place with new picnic tables and nice benches. Very well maintained. Bit hairy coming in at night with a big rig (45ft + tow) and dirt/sand roads. Owners very helpful. Able to park and not unhitch toad which was great for an overnight near i10 (huge sites). Had volleyball net set up along with volleyball, soccer balls, etc available. Didn't utilize any facilities so can't speak to those, but WiFi worked well. Paid $40 in April 2017.
