We had never been in this area before and thought it would be a good location as it is a short bicycle ride to cedar key. Cedar Key was pretty disappointing, most of the stores and restaurants are old and run down. Can't say we had a meal we would recommend to others other than the clam chowder at Tony's. bicycle riding through the residential areas is ok. The rv park is in poor shape, rough and dusty roads, old bathroom and shower rooms that were not ventilated or air conditioned and the cafe is out of business. The clubhouse was also not air conditioned so unusable in June. The wifi was slow and only 20 channels on the cable. Management was helpful and friendly. We had a waterfront spot but when the tide goes out, the entire bay dries out and it turned into a giant mud flat. As you can imagine the bugs made it difficult to sit outside unless the wind was blowing hard. Not much to do in Cedar Key and it is far from any place. Expensive at $45 per night.

The area is nice, but I won't stay here. Every square inch does not need to be consumed by some type of rv!

Good Location For Sunset
Small park with limited amenities. Resturant and motel onsite. Spots are tight and some sewer connections are problematic as they flow up-hill. Office very nice. Great Tiki Hut bar next door.

Beautiful sunset views! Really enjoyed the free live music that the park planned on both the Friday and Saturday night of our visit. Very low key and quiet. We would definitely return!

We had to look all over to find a park close to memorial day weekend. The park is actually OK. It's a good place to stay when you want to visit Cedar key. There's not another reason to go. Our sites backed up to a salt water back water. Fortunately the mosquitoes weren't too bad. We had stayed here maybe five years ago and they ate us alive. Cedar Key seems to have shrunk. Can't say we'll visit again soon.
