Great Park With Water View
This is an awesome place if you are looking to relax in peace and quiet maybe fish a little. I like the fact that they are straight forward about what to expect here and it is what we were looking for. Make sure you read their website because they give an honest clear description of their park. The water front sites are amazing!

Great Little Stop
Full timer here. I normally dry camp as much as possible but I had to do laundry, replenish water and dump so stopped here for the afternoon/night. This is a very clean park. I had originally booked an inner site but when I arrived was asked if I wanted a water front site, so I said yes and got that site for the same price. It is true there is a constant breeze, dah you’re on the water

Great place on the water, full hook ups, has peir, and is clean. No pool, but the public beach is close by. We love coming here for a quick get away. I recommend this place often.

Nice View
Not easy to find a waterfront site, you drive in not back in and enjoy the Gulf view, not much else to do besides driving to Carrabelle to see the world’s smallest Police Station in a quaint town. Will come back if in the area. Five for the view and don’t expect anything else. Ho Hum

Laid Back And Perfect
This was a great stopover for us. We got right on the water and the price was low for that kind of view. They have a nice pier and the fishing was great. Very level and easy to access. The sites are NOT too close--we had prenty of room. We will be back!

Nice Get Away Few Days Camp Spot
Me and my wife book it for 7 days which was 4 days to long. 14 lot was nice and level. Everything was pretty clean. Nice laundry mat the host people were really nice. If you just need a quick getaway prices were reasonable. The not so good is I didn’t see where people could take there dogs to poop area. I step in a pile of poop. Not equipped with swimming pools or any activities. This area of the gulf coast is fishing town. But overall I would come back just for few days then move on to next camp ground.

Worth every penny. Hwy 98 is beautiful, even after the hurricane devastation, the best route . I hesitate to recommend this campground because I want to keep it our secret. Seriously. It's heaven on this earth. It's name is ho-hum and they mean it. Laid back, clean, friendly (very friendly) and fun. Left, right, center on Wednesday night's and most everyone comes. We are already booking for next year as soon as possible.

Great View Of The Bay
We enjoyed the colorful sun rises and sun sets but nothing else to do except going to sea food restaurants and historical sites. Not that many of each. The wind blows most every day and with only gravel surface the sand and dust are awful. We had an extended stay and won't do that again. The rates were considerably higher than what I was quoted and this park is not equal to the current rates.

Ho Hum No Fun
Pretty disappointing. Life’s too short to stay in a camp where you pay good money for poor customer service. We are laid back RVers that like to see new places and get a taste of the local area. I hope their maintenance and hosts are not representative of the Carrabelle community.

Nice park for a stop over. No concrete patios, sand, dirt everywhere. They grade the park roads frequently and keeps the dust always loose. Stayed 1 week and had to wash everything outdoors due to dust/dirt, everything was brown. Not much to do in the area after a few days.

Great Little Campground
Last year we saw Ho Hum but stayed down the road. We decided to give it a try this year and are not sorry! Office staff and camp hosts were great, views are awesome! We stayed two nights and think we will try a week at some point. We were lucky enough that the class A in front of us pulled out early so we had a fantastic view until evening. Swings are a great touch and we enjoyed walking on the pier. Make sure you have a broom and vacuum; it is sandy. A great stay!

Forgotten Coast Gem
We stayed 4 days overlooking the water-just beautiful. Nice shower. There are several swing benches to sit on throughout the park. We would definitely visit again. 2 bars AT&T but there is Wi-Fi. We walked our dog quite a ways west along the water. Low tide shelling was minimal but I did find 4 sea urchins, a whelk, tulip and some scallop type bivalve.

Good Location
Good location on the water. Our RV was 20 feet from the waters edge at high tide. I agree with comments about there being not much of a beach available especially at high tide. Fishing was good off the pier. Recommend using live bait. Talk with the staff about sharks and the alligators that are in the area. Oh yes, and they do have a bear that frequents the dumpster so don't use it after dark. Your in Florida so that's to be expected. The sights were level. Hook ups were good. Staff kept the place clean. We had an enjoyable stay.

Works For Us
The name says it all. Right on the Gulf, but beach might be an overstatement. At high tide, it's not navigable. At low tide, it's a weedy stinky mess. But the view and bay breeze is worthwhile. The people are friendly. My dogs are tolerated ...and welcome. The bayview site we had for our 30' TT was perfect. The gravel ...and sand track inside, but the cable tv worked great on both sets. Water pressure is good. Full hookup with no problems. It's up the coast from Carbelle, so it's a real drive to Apalachicola, St. George Island, or PortSt. Joe. No one is catching much from the dock but I see the birds are getting plenty. Quite a jaunt to a good beach. Very quiet, relaxing, safe, and reasonable.

Average Park
This is just an average park. Nothing exceptional about it. After a lot of rain, there were a ton of puddles. There is no beach and the road noise is very loud, I don’t care how you slice it. We were in the second row from the road and it was bad. Spots are also quite close together. There is only crushed stone throughout the small park.

Ocean Front Views For Reasonable Price
We stayed here for 5 days in an ocean front spot and loved it! The price was about half of what most RV parks charge of a sliver view of the ocean let alone ocean front. We are in a 5th wheel so you will have to mention that you want ocean Front for your 5th wheel as they only have a couple 5ver ocean front spots. There is a mile of beach you can walk and allow your dog to run and play if they have great recall as it’s not fenced in. When the tide is out you can put on your rubber boots and hunt for shells or just explore. We even saw a dolphin from our kitchen window while having morning coffee. You are allowed to fish off the pier but the fishing is best in the spring/summer. Our spot was also very big with lots of room but again 5th wheel spots are different than the RV spots. Cons- not a lot to do if your expecting trails, pool or great wifi. The laundry room is small and older. Pros- the staff are super nice and the views are incredible. If you want to relax this is the place!

No real beach. No grass or plantings. No pool no hot tub. No fires. All parked very close together and when rvs pull in across the front absolutely no view. Not close to any good restaurants. It is one LG packed white gravel parking lot. It is kept clean. Fishing not to good dock mostly out of the water at low tide so can't fish. It is named appropriatly. HO HUM IS WHAT IT IS. To much money for what they don't have. Also in the office is an add for camp worker. It's false they don't need anyone they just keep it up in case they do at so.e point

Beautiful Views but.....
What beach are these people talking about?? There is some sand and mucky stuff along edge of water?!!There is a nice pier for fishing and beautiful view of the gulf. Lots of water birds, dolphins, and sharks to watch! Very quiet and well kept. No ice available in park. Was a gas station with ice and bait 1 mile away. Our cable would not work here. We have always been able to hook up in all other campgrounds! Neither could one of the units parked next to us. The person who "attempted" to help with cable issue really did not seem to care if ours or other person's cable was working! TV on antenna was sporadic. Very friendly people here! Like it despite issues!!

We have stopped here numerous time on our way to or from Wisconsin. It is a great place to spend a few days at the beach! The owners & workers are very pleasant & accommodating! A part of the beach is dog friendly and the grounds are always well groomed! Thanks for this great RV park!

Our Stay At Ho Hum
This is one of the nicest, cleanest parks we have stayed at. The grounds were raked every morning and the sites were raked every time someone left. The only thing that could have been better would be to air condition the bathroom/shower rooms. We had a water view site and, since the park was not full, had a nice unobstructed view of the gulf. It was pretty buggy if there was no breeze and the fishing from the pier wasn't as good as I hoped. Other campers said that some had caught trout and redfish from the pier but none when we were there. The park is far from town, about four miles to Carrabelle, but there is an IGA market and an ACE hardware store there. Dining in Carrabelle is limited but you can drive to Eastpoint or Apalachicola, about 20 miles away. We also took a day trip to St. George Island, typical shore town with a very nice state park. Go a bit further west to Port St. Joe. Only give it a four star rating because of it being far from the attractions.

Nothing fancy. But super clean, friendly, and very well priced. Lot for the money. I will come back here. WiFi was best I can remember. No camp store, but they sell propane. St. George island 23 miles south.

Well worth the trip. Beautiful park-like setting. Reasonable prices, especially for right on the water. (Others are across the highway) Very friendly accommodating hosts. Bathrooms clean and nicely set-up. We stayed just one night, it was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful sunset and sunrise!! Most dog-friendly park in Florida. Thanks!!

Been There Several Times
Very nice park with good services & amenities. The only critical thing I can say is that they have some pads on which you will never get an over 30 foot RV level! And that's sad considering what they charge. We are going back, but if I get one of those pads I will leave.

We stayed for one night. Great view. Nice office staff. We don't fish, so for fishing purposes it's probably ideal. Right on the beach, so of course there's sand to clean up. They're dog friendly, but not really any place to walk your dog, except the beach. Very quiet, no kids allowed.

Will Stay Again!
Really enjoyed our short stay there, the fishing was decent from the pier and shelling was good at low tide. All in all a nice quiet place to enjoy a view of the coast.

Great Place To Stay
Facilities are nice and it has excellent views of the gulf from the waterfront sites. Jolley and Susan were most helpful during our stay there. Everything worked well and we look forward to returning.
