Beach Camping
Stayed 4 nights. The good - full hookups, pretty quiet even when mostly full, walking distance to the beach, good cell phone reception, great water pressure, towns close by, all sites are pull through. The bad - no fire pits or grills, wood fires aren't permitted, sites are tiny and packed tight, little TV reception, bugs are pretty bad. The ugly - no shade at all (summer must be awful), the wind is pretty strong off the ocean (secure your stuff).

Understand
This is a beach campground. Basically a parking lot with hookups. But nice. Very well maintained. Nice bathrooms and showers. Easy walk to a wonderful beach. Best crab cakes ever at Woody's in Dewey's Beach

Tight But Love The Beach
We had a full hook up. Sites are very close but blacktop and level. No trees no privacy. We still loved access to the beach

Incredible Views of the Bridge and Water
Paid $56 for a single night stay. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer) with great water pressure at 65psi. The roads are somewhat narrow, but access is fine especially since we camped in an end site. We loved site 481 even though it was the end site where everyone passed when entering the campground. We had unobstructed views of the bridge and the inlet. Very well maintained campground. Asphalt was in good condition. Paved site. Plenty of dumpsters. Easy access on and off the main highway after the bridge. Short walk under the bridge to the beach. Amazing sunsets.

Great Park
We love this park. We’ve come several times over the last 10 years or so. This is the first time we’ve stayed on the North Side. The sites on the North side seem bigger than the South Side. We were in site 439, which gave us a view of the inlet and bay. The sunset views from over the bay were spectacular. There are paved walkways with benches and picnic tables along the inlet. There are also walkways through the parking lot and over the dunes to the beach. The beach is dog friendly, which is a big plus for us. The park is well maintained. There is a small laundromat with 2 washers and dryers. Interior roads are wide and paved and are easy to navigate with our 40 foot motor home. Sites have full hookups (at least at the North side). Landing pads are paved, and sites have some grass with a picnic table. There are some small trees scattered through the park, but it is basically open. There’s always a cool breeze. We’ll be back.

Great Labor Day Weekend
We stayed Thursday to Tuesday and had a great time with friends camped in either side. We missed the fire pits, but they do have a community one. The beach is within walking distance and has a concession stand. The reason for four stars is that several of the sites flooded (not ours) during a downpour r/t hurricane Harvey and stayed flooded two days.
