If not for all the semi-trucks parked around this little shell station, a passer by would not see it as a "truck stop." The state of Colorado is "home" to us, because we are never in one of it's many cities/towns for very long. We travel and reside in a 38-foot fifth wheel with our young son and daughter. The summer of 2015 has made unplanned travel and the chance at locating any parks or campgrounds, with available parking, impossible. Just an FYI, truck stop parking lots fill up quick on Sunday evenings. Searching the map on the rv parky app, I found this truck stop 35 miles away. It was worth the drive. The store might be small but the parking lot is anything but. There is even parking across the road. We were able to find a spot that allowed us to open up all three slide outs on our trailer. Small as it may be, the store has four showers (cheapest we have found at $9 for all four of us) and two washers/dryers. The staff is friendly and the lot was surprisingly quiet. Great choice!
