Stopped in to check out the casino. Turns out they still require the sheep to wear their maaaaaaaaasks. Pass.

Closed For Season

Stopped by it was closed 11/7 to 4/1

Nice Enough, But

We were in a 43 ft motor home. Could not level, but they let us pick another site. Saw two gas motor homes with both their front wheels almost 10 inches off the ground. Other spots looked fine. Had to disconnect and could just fit motor home with our CRV parked in front. Otherwise it was OK. Clean, quiet, and easy walk to the casino and buffet.

Just What I Was Looking For

So, you’ve gotta understand where I come from in my reviews. I’m looking for family value, not fancy RV “resorts” where snobby people compare their million dollar coaches and are offended to see a towel hanging from the awning. That towel means I had fun with my kids. Mostly level gravel spots with FHU, pool, “warm tub” (hot tub wasn’t very hot), super nice showers, laundry facilities ($1.75 wash then about $.75 to dry), grassy spots between spaces, nice gazebo, tent spots, nice staff... what else do you need? Oh yeah, it was $19 a night with PPA discount! Short walk to casino, if that’s your thing. We stayed 2 nights while visiting Mesa Verde NP, about half hour away. Yeah, I’d definitely stay here again if we come this way.

RV Park Closed

It must close for the winter as it's got a gate across the entrance with a "closed" sign. Casino is nice but be forewarned...they don't serve alcohol. Still, had a good time. Only one restaurant but didn't eat there. Parking lot is level for RV. No power at poles so be prepared in cold season. 11 degrees F tonight...brrrr.

Staff friendly, casino restaurant food was good, but up to two hour wait!! No reservations allowed, and it is small and busy. Security drives through RV park often, felt safe.

Ok - But...

Toilets and showers immaculate Parking for 45ft RV not very level Disappointed with casino especially the one and only restaurant - no reservations are accepted so you have to turn up an line up ! Nothing wrong with the pRk - but nothing special either

A Pleasant Surprise

This is a very nice campground. The staff is accommodating and quite friendly. I would strongly recommend this park. Everything is top notch.

Great Place.

Staff was friendly. All the sites are gravel pull throughs with full hookups. Restrooms and showers were clean. Well shaded. Nice off leash dog area. Could use some shade but otherwise it's nice. Walk across the street to the casino. Only $35.

Great Place To Stay.

The sites are gravel but level. The casino is just across the street on the same property, where their police was always on patrol thru the rv park. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restroom and showers were spotless. I would give it five stars if the pads were paved. Other than that great place to stay, and only nine miles south of Cortez, Colorado.
