Stay Away
Rudest owners ever. Stayed here 3 other times and the when we tried to book online for 4th time (showing available-and only way to book) they tell us it’s not available cause they have a group coming in. They never updated website so we tried again a few days later and then call us and tell us they never want us staying here again. Hung up on us on the phone. We did nothing accept try to stay at their park. Other parks in the area,I would stay away, I’ve been going to South Fork for 40 years and I’ve always tried to support local businesses there, but I will never support this business again. Do not give these rude people your money.

Great stay at this park. Sites are well maintained and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The nicest dog park I have ever seen at an RV park. Good WiFi and cell service.

Spacious and Clean
We have vacationed in South Fork for over 20 years and many RV parks are very tight and crowded. This year we stayed at Peacock Meadows at the end of July 2020. Very nice management. Spaces are spaced out very well. Facilities are clean. WiFi was great. I had a couple of meetings that I needed to Zoom and no connection problems. Cell service is pretty good here where other parks have service issues. People were friendly and respectful of the rules. The only thing was the price. They are higher than most parks. If you stay over a week, you pay electricity. Non-refundable deposit as well. We typically stay two weeks and we paid more here than any other park by far.

Drove through here scouting for my family and three friends to spend a month here. I was driving through the campground and somebody that works there stopped me and told me to slow down. I was doing 5 miles an hour. The wind was blowing 30 to 40 miles an hour. Definitely will not stay here,

Price at Top end.
Ok park, but they don't tell you they have 4 different taxes. Stayed one week with no discounts and paid $400. $45 of that was taxes. Also charge $2 a day for 50amp and still charge you for your electric at 17 cents a kilowatt hr. On anything over 6 days. Already telling me they might be raising prices because they can?

Short July 2020 Stay
Great place. Very well maintained. Sites are spread well but close enough to meet new people. Check in was easy and we were guided to our spot. WiFi was probably okay before COVID hit. A lot of campers now. We experienced ups and downs. Prior reviews said it was fast. If camping stays at its current rate they will need more bandwidth. We drove around and looked at different sites in the area and this one was by far our favorite.

Fall Weekend Getaway
Amazing time! All reviews are accurate; super clean bathrooms and very nice staff. Hidden amenities around every corner. The saloon (rec room) has books, games, table soccer, and big screen TV to watch college/nfl football. The pond is very peaceful, no luck on the fishing this time, but looking forward to coming back and trying again.

Best Winter RV Spot in Colorado
Stayed here for a week in January. Well plowed, full service pull throughs with heated water connections. Surrounded by the National Forest public lands and mountains around South Fork. But don't even get me started on the bathroom/showers if you're winterized. I'm an old retired guy, and have never seen such a nice setup. Two bathrooms and adjoining showers like you'd see in a high end house. Fantastic deal for winter camping.

Year Round, heated underground water.
Take a nice drive to Lake City. Cross the continental divide, good Highway. This is a new rv park and the trees aren't grown up yet. Good dog walking areas. Now has its own saloon, currently open thu-sun. sites are 100% level. Access to Rio Grand River right in the park.
