Very Nice 5 Star Park

The other bad reviews here you should ignore. This is a very nice 5 star RV park with lots of amenities. Management was very helpful and guided me to my site. All the sites are level and have gravel. They also have very green grass areas that are very large. The sites are extractive and extra long and many have mature big shade trees although not all of them. A mix of backings and pulls through. They have a nice rec room with indoor pickle ball, pool table, ping pong, multiple fire pits and two bath and laundry facilities. The park is far enough off the main highway so it is pretty quiet. They is a nice swimming pool that is partially shaded by a building overhang. This is a large park that feels spacious and roomy. It’s close enough for a short drive to Ouray or an hour drive to Telluride. The State Park is nearby and Rocky Mtn NP is a bit over an hours drive. The park was recently purchased and you can tell management is doing new improvements and making it better.

Nice Surprise!

We spent 4 days here and loved it. Glad we did not go by all the reviews that had to do with a family being kicked out for receiving a package. So many jumped on the band wagon to try to ruin these people's business. Shame on you. We had a great spot. Nice shade. The bathroom and laundry were beautiful and spotless. The people here we great! The views were nice too. We will definitely be visiting here when in the area again. Thank you Jellystone/Montrose San Juan

Attacking RV’s For Delivering A Package

As you can tell by everyone else on this post the Montrose / jellystone RV resort should be avoided at all costs. Unless of course you have a wish to be yelled that or attacked by people that seem to only care about themselves and not the people they serve. There will be much space in this campground because no one‘s going to go to it.

Racist

Racist owners, once they found out my wife was Black, they accused her of stealing! What did she steal? They said she knows what she stole! Little did they know she's a retired State Trooper! Never stay here!!!

It's too bad to have a campground with owner/ manager looking for a reason to hassle people. Normally you would want to talk to the owners but they are aware and involved also. Stay away.

Too Many Bad Rules

Was planning on staying 4 days, got to reading the rules. Ask front desk are they for real, told if you dont like them, leave. We did. Dont think of staying here, ran by the RV gestapo

Can’t Receive Packages?!

Do not stay here. This place has four pages of rules! You can’t receive packages?! Really! There is a reason this place has had multiple name changes. #WorstoftheWorst #CamperBeware

Bad park. Tons of unnecessary rules which are not clearly given and arbitrarily enforced.
