This site was very open with no trees. We stayed in south shore 33 and faced a hill side so we didn’t feel so out in the open.
The site could have been cleaner, there was a glass bottle in the fire pit and trash on the hill side. The bathrooms where extremely gross and we were very happy to have our own bathroom.
There was a nice hiking trail that is well kept and a free library that had some kids books.
I would have given this spot a 5 star even with the trash however our second day at 7am the county decided it needed mow! I get the need to mow but so so early when people are trying to eat! They mowed under some of the slides of the others campers... The picture dose not show how close the mowers where getting to the campers or do justice to the amount of dust they where kicking up.
The price of this site I would rather go to a privately owned camp ground. It was $32 per night plus $9 transaction fee and you still have to buy a day for $9 a day. So it really added up in the end.
