Disappointed
Stayed 2 nights. Back-in along river. Gravel and dirt. Very narrow site, little room between units. Picnic table next to neighbor sewer hookup. No cell service. No working WiFi.

What a great location on the Thompson River. Sad to say the water pressure and electrical grid need lots of attention. Very frustrating

Over priced... they need to put some money into this place.. great potential, but, no improvements made here in many years. There is no competition for them and they are full often, causing them to rest on their laurels... sad, this place could be so awesome...

Spent 2 nights here in our motorhome. Very nice and accommodating staff. We were on site#4 backed up to the Big Thompson River, the sound of the rapid river was awesome. Conveintly located to our family in the area. Great stopover!

Needs Work
Spent 4 nights mid Aug parking by Big Thompson River. Knew from reviews the lots were narrow so couldn't use overhang but was able to use slide outs. Could smell neighbors sewage; that close. Question safety of water connection & no pressure. Requested help from office which got weekday but no response on Sat. Neighbor said dog park had strong urine smell so walked dog near RV. Didn't use bath house after seeing other reviews. Other RVers were friendly & many were full time. Enjoyed Sat night music. Hope business updates park.

Disappointing
I love state parks because you can walk around forever and are surrounded by nature. At first glance this is how this place feels. Thanks to all of our discounts it was less than $40 a nite, but even that is too much. Our space was narrow and our door opened up directly on a sewer connection. The camper next to us was so crooked we couldn’t open our awning if we had wanted to, which we didn’t because of the sewer connection. Some sites had small fences to block the view but not the row we were on. We were going to ask for a different site but the office closed five minutes after we got the at 4:00. Quite a few people live here full time in one section of the park, and foxtails and dried grass are abundant. This could be such a nice spot and it is really a shame. Thankfully there is a nice trail head across the road and it is concurrent to Esters Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Would never stat here again nor would I recommend it to any one.

Agree with Larry’s evaluation. Also weak cable signal and low water pressure. The sandy roads and sites were dirty. All in all I am glad the week is over.

Sorry. Not Impressed. Crowded. Sandy drives. Sandy sites. Bath houses were old and filthy. Felt like a sardine. Dead trees laying around. Staff was fair. Stayed here 3 nights 7.1.19. Old and dingy. For the price could have been much better. Honest opinion

Best Yet
Two month tour across states, and this was best campground yet, Beautiful, clean , level, and was backed up to the “big T” river. Staff was in unbelievable nice and helpful. Pick up propane for filling. Keep road scraped anc smooth. There was a live band playing Saturday nite at pavilion. Big shady trees and very quite

Beautiful Park
The park is absolutely beautiful. Our spot was backed up next to the river. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of kids and things for them to do. Their store has a lot to provide. Dogs were happy. My only complaint is the spots are soooo close together. 3 lots should only be 2. I gave this park a 5 star because no one camped next to me all weekend so I had extra room. If not I would have been disappointed.

Wonderful Gem On The River
We loved this camp ground! We requested the river front site and were in spot 3 with our 38 foot travel trailer. We had 50 amp full hookups and a picnic table. The rushing river was a glorious and relaxing sound! The camp ground is gravel/dirt, so it did get dusty at times. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns we had! They have a nice playground for the kids and activities as well. There is a large dog run and they are pet friendly! We look forward to another trip here in the future. Be careful coming in! The campground sneaks up on you and there is not a good place to turn around. The turn is sharp and a bridge to access the park! Thanks Riverview staff!

Beautiful & Quiet
This RV park is nice and spacious with a lot of tree coverage! We stayed in their pull through slot and it was an easy in and out. We also have a Doberman which was allowed here and we could let him run around in their dog park. They gave us dog treats for both our dogs at check-in as well! I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I wish the park was a little more updated for my toddlers to play on. Otherwise it's great.

Nice Campground Little Spots
This was a very nice Campground! I was impressed with their activities they had planned, breakfast of pancakes, live and at night, lego competition for kids. However the spots were sooooo close together! I felt like I was eating dinner with the camper next to us! We had a spot right on the river and that was nice and pretty but again the closeness of spots was a little disappointing.

Great location to the RMNP. Camp site was good. We booked a three night stay for over the weekend and they were able to accomodate us. Bathrooms and laundry were very clean. We packed up to do a day trip and some how thought we left.and gave our spot to someone else. We call ed the manager and they came right out and fixed the situation .

This is my favorite park I've been to in the 6 months we've been traveling. Great price, cheap propane, and beautiful scenery!
