No More Dump In Idaho Springs

After the flood a few years ago, the community had decided not to open any of the former dump stations. The closest tank dump is at the KOA campground at mile marker 7 on the Central City parkway... or Denver to the east or Silverthorne to the west.

5/14/17 Site is closed/under construction. The employee at the visitor center was not sure if they were going to be rebuilding it with another dump station or not.

As of today, the dump station is closed

It was a bit tricky to find but it's there. No potable water. Good location near the visitor center and picnic area
